Factual error: When Tom Green says he is going to beat the bejesus out of the guy on the phone and slams the phone down several times you can hear a bell ring inside the phone; that type of phone doesn't use a bell when it rings.
Factual error: John's horse wins the race, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he gets exactly $30,000. As far as I know, there are some taxes that must be paid upon winning.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where John, Patty and Noreen are watching the old videos, Noreen pauses the spelling bee tape. They tell John the news and Patty says "here is my favorite part", and the tape is still playing, but nobody clicked it off pause.
John: Nothing could hold a candle to the fetish crime I just endured.
Trivia: Immediately after the botched convenience store robbery, Tom Green tells Jason Lee that he has an idea to make money in the form of a "scam involving pizza delivery." This is surely a joke thrown in by Tom Green because of an attempted scam/skit on the Tom Green Show called Undercutters where he followed around pizza delivery guys with his own pizza in an attempt to undercut their price. Hilarious skit by the way.
