Revealing mistake: If you look at the instrument gauges right before the foil "bird" hits the windshield, you can see that the car isn't actually moving on its own because the speedometer is at zero. All of the warning lights are on also, meaning the car most likely isn't started at all and the key is just turned forward. (00:32:50)
The Sweetest Thing (2002)
1 revealing mistake
Directed by: Roger Kumble
Starring: Cameron Diaz, Thomas Jane, Christina Applegate, Selma Blair, Bryan Anthony, Herbert W. Ankrom, Lillian Adams
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Christina decides not to be afraid anymore and runs after Peter, she comes out of the house and first shouts while facing in the wrong direction. She knew that he went the other way, because she saw him leave. (Shot at different times, confirmed on DVD commentary.) (01:19:25)
Voice: There's someone in here.
Christina: Sorry.
Voice: It might be a while.
Christina: How long?
Voice: Let me put it to you this way. I had Lamb Curry last night and I'm shitting out a Buick.
Courtney: Was it absolutely vital for her to tell us that?
Trivia: The leather coat guy that Christina Applegate approaches at the bar is actually her real life husband.
Question: After the bathroom scene, when Diaz is putting eye drops in her eye, Applegate says that she had just witnessed a "glory hole", or something sounding like that. What is a glory hole?

Answer: Without needing an "X" rating: A glory hole is most commonly found in men's restrooms, used for sexual purposes. A quick web search might provide more (yet too much) information.
