Other mistake: Fred MacMurray is listed as "Clarence" in the closing credits, but when he is standing outside his store and talking to Maureen, a promotional sign in the background spells his name as "Clarance."
The Swarm (1978)
1 other mistake
Directed by: Irwin Allen
Starring: Michael Caine, Richard Widmark, Richard Chamberlain, Katharine Ross
Continuity mistake: The burnout of Houston takes place at nighttime, but when the bees attack an ambulance driver who then crashes into a building, the scene changes briefly to broad daylight.
Brad Crane: We've been fighting a losing battle against the insects for fifteen years, but I never thought I'd see the final face-off in my lifetime. And I never dreamed, that it would turn out to be the bees. They've always been our friend.
Trivia: Irwin Allen was so disheartened by the amount of money he lost on this film that he forbade any of his employees to ever mention it again, and even cut short an interview when a question was asked about it.
