Other mistake: At the beginning of the third chapter ("El Chivo y Maru"), when the Comandante and Gustavo are driving to see Chivo, the Comandante says to Gustavo, "Make a right here."; however, Gustavo ignores him and never makes a right. He just keeps going straight.
El Chivo: Do you want something to drink? I've got rum, water and milk.
Luis Miranda Solares: What are you gonna do with me?
El Chivo: What does that mean? rum, water or milk?

Correction: I am Mexican and - by the way - a personal friend to director Alejandro Gonzáles Iñarritu, and I of all people can tell you that - for budget reasons - the crash scene was only filmed once, as they had only one model of each car, so it is not likely that an older model had appeared.
