Visible crew/equipment: In the ice skating scene at the end of the movie, Shelton and others are saying good bye to Smoochy. Buggy fires, and the camera goes to Shelton falling to the ground. If you look at Shelton's head, you can see the special effects tub that shoots air (or something) out, to give the impression a bullet has just gone into Shelton's suit.

Randolph (Robin Williams) saves Sheldon/Smoochy (Edward Norton) just seconds before Buggy Ding Dong shoots Smoochy. They fight, Buggy shoots but barely misses Smoochy thanks to Randolph. Buggy falls off the catwalk from where he was aiming at Smoochy. Burke (Danny DeVito) makes a run for it and Sheldon chases him. Burke is about to kill Sheldon when Nora appears and points a gun at Burke. Sheldon almost shoots Burke but his Irish buddies talk him out of it. Burke and Jon Stewart are taken care of by the Irish dudes. Rainbow Randolph and Smoochy both star in an ice show.
