Other mistake: There are two mistakes with the ambulance that arrives on the scene to retrieve Jason's body. First, the letters that are supposed to spell DODGE on the front of the ambulance are missing the first D. Second, where is the reversed sign saying AMBULANCE that all ambulances are supposed to have in case people see it in their rear view mirror?
Other mistake: Rob's articles talk about a murder at a cafe. The murders took place at a small grocery store.
Continuity mistake: When Trish's car stops, the licence plate goes from dirty to clean. (00:28:10)
Jimmy: Ted. I think... I think when we get to town I should call Betty.
Ted: Jimbo, calling Betty is definitely a dead fuck thing to do. Look, first rule of love: never get rejected by the same girl twice. I mean, that's useless. If you want to make a fool out of yourself, always do it with someone new.

Trivia: When Judie Aronson, who plays Samantha, was filming the scene in the raft where she gets killed, they were doing so many takes. She was wet and cold and wanted to warm up. The director refused until he got the shot he wanted which made Judie cry and freak out. Ted White, who played Jason, was so upset about this that he demanded they get her a blanket and let her get warmed up or he would walk off the set and not come back. Needless to say, Judie got warmed up very quickly.
Question: When Gordon (the dog) went through the window, did he voluntarily jump through it because he was startled, or did Jason throw him out?
Answer: You can see from the inside of the house Gordon jumping through the window by himself. It shows him jumping on the table then through the window.
