6.5/10.The most overrated entry of the franchise.I truly hated Corey Feldman as Tommy Jarvis and Kimberly Beck as his sister Trish.I also didn't care for single mother Tracy Jarvis played by Joan Freeman, as if horror needs to further the idea that being a single parent is easy.Ted White was pretty good as Jason, he being one of the only tolerable cast members alongside Camilla and Carey Moore.Kimberly Beck said she hated the horror genre and called this a "C movie" with me wondering why she'd even sign up for it.I truly found her to be in a tie with Dana Kimmell as the worst femal leads in the franchise.She too badmouthed the series.Still it's fairly decent despite the presence of Feldman and Beck.

Ted: Jimbo, calling Betty is definitely a dead fuck thing to do. Look, first rule of love: never get rejected by the same girl twice. I mean, that's useless. If you want to make a fool out of yourself, always do it with someone new.
Jimmy: I don't know anyone new.
Ted: Well, sex is a great way to meet them.
Trivia: When Judie Aronson, who plays Samantha, was filming the scene in the raft where she gets killed, they were doing so many takes. She was wet and cold and wanted to warm up. The director refused until he got the shot he wanted which made Judie cry and freak out. Ted White, who played Jason, was so upset about this that he demanded they get her a blanket and let her get warmed up or he would walk off the set and not come back. Needless to say, Judie got warmed up very quickly.
Question: When Gordon (the dog) went through the window, did he voluntarily jump through it because he was startled, or did Jason throw him out?
Answer: You can see from the inside of the house Gordon jumping through the window by himself. It shows him jumping on the table then through the window.
