Other mistake: Toward the end, Pubert escapes the crib and is crawling away from the camera. It can be easily seen that it's an animated puppet due to the even movements. A second later, you see the live baby, and the movements are nothing like a moment before.

Addams Family Values (1993)
1 other mistake
Directed by: Barry Sonnenfeld
Starring: Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci, Joan Cusack, Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia
Continuity mistake: The scarf that Debbie wears while she is driving disappears and reappears throughout the scene.
Debbie: Isn't he a lady killer?
Gomez Addams: Acquitted.
Trivia: The baby's name, "Pubert," was actually the original intended name for Pugsley when the comic was turned into a sitcom in the 1960's. Comic creator Charles Addams pitched the name, but it was rejected as it sounds like a number of other words including "puberty" and "pubic." (Which were quite taboo at the time.) The name was finally used thirty years later in this movie for the Addams new baby.
Question: I'm just curious but is it possible to actually kill a member of the Addams family? Fester survives both the bathtub electrocution and the bomb explosion, Pubert can stop the guillotine blade with his bare hand, and in the first film Pugsley willingly lets Wednesday electrocute him with no apparent ill-effects.
Answer: They originate as a cartoon (1938). So they are basically immortal cartoon characters like the Looney Tunes.

Answer: They can be killed. In the first movie, Morticia talks about several relatives who were murdered, and the whole family seems pretty scared when they're strapped in the electric chairs. They're hard core and lucky, but not immortal.
