Audio problem: In one of his most famous movie scenes, Elvis lip syncs the wrong words to Jailhouse Rock. Watch his lips when he sings the words "The (band) was jumpin' down, the joint began to swing." (01:05:00)
Suggested correction: The correct lyrics are: "The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing." Not sure if this corrects the lip syncing discrepancy though.
Continuity mistake: When Elvis is at the pool singing "you're so square baby I don't care" watch his guitar player Scotty Moore sitting behind him. They use two camera shots for the scene. In one shot he has sunglasses on, in the other shot they are gone. This happens throughout the entire song.

Trivia: The song "Jailhouse Rock" is introduced by Elvis at about 1:04:40, where he talks about being in jail with "a bunch of men." And again, "these men" had a lot of fun. Then the line "No. 47 said to No. 3, you're the cutest jailbird I ever did see..." etc. So he is really describing same-sex relationships in the prison. Very ahead of his time. (01:04:40)
