Edward Scissorhands

A modern day fairy tale which tells the story of Edward, the man created by an inventor, who died before finishing him and left Edward with scissors where he should have hands. One day when the local "Avon" representative calls at the historic mansion where Edward has been living alone, she takes him home to stay with her family. He has to adapt to the new life and environment that he isn't used to. Soon he shows a talent in cutting hair and hedges, and wins every body's heart. But life isn't always so sweet.

Edward gets framed and he is hated by the whole town apart from the Boggs (the family he lives with). We find out that the Avon representative's daughter Kim has feelings for Edward, and she admits this at the end after Edward stabs Jim (Kim's ex) who tries to kill Edward because he was jealous. At the very end we found out that the old lady from the start telling the story is Kim in her older days. Edward is immortal and that he is making it snow by making lots of ice sculptures - the ice shavings are being let out over the town.

Plot hole: At the end of the film, we see Edward carving ice sculptures in his mansion. How did he get the ice up there? First of all, it takes place in a warm climate and I didn't see a freezer up there in the castle. He couldn't have gotten ice from town because firstly he had scissors for hands and couldn't have gripped the ice. And, even if by some miracle he could, he wouldn't be able to buy any from town because everyone in town but Kim was convinced that Edward was dead, she told everyone that they killed each other. And Kim didn't bring it to him because she told her granddaughter in the end that she never saw him again after that night. So where did he get that ice?
