Factual error: When Julia Roberts drives away from the building where she finds the dead body of the boy with "LD" written on his hand, it is raining heavily. Yet, as she accelerates, there is an extended sound of tyres screeching on a dry surface.
I Love Trouble (1994)
1 factual error
Directed by: Charles Shyer
Starring: Julia Roberts, Nick Nolte, James Rebhorn, Saul Rubinek
Continuity mistake: When Peter is talking to his editor after the first time Sarina out-scoops him, he's holding a newspaper under his arm as he walks up to his editor's office. The shot switches to the editor and when it turns back to Peter the paper is gone.
Sabrina Peterson: How'd you get involved in this, Sam? Willy wanted to get rid of Beekman and he thought you could get the job done?
Sam Smotherman: Something like that.
Sabrina Peterson: But you botched the fire in college. What made him think you'd get it right this time?
Sam Smotherman: I was the only bad guy he knew.
Trivia: During the filming of this movie, Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte did not get along at all. Roberts famously called Nolte "completely disgusting," whereas Nolte retaliated by calling Roberts "not a nice person." The conflict stemmed from their immediate clashing personalities and resulted in a tense production, with reports of the two avoiding scenes together and even using stand-ins to film their interactions.
