Continuity mistake: When Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl speak to each other while out on the field, her right hand is placed on her staff. When the shot cuts, her right hand is on her head and her left hand is on her staff. (00:44:35)
Revealing mistake: Just after Dark Magician's attack points go from 2500 to 4500, Yugi says, "Now your monster is the one who's outmatched, Paradox, and not only that, it also happens to be outnumbered as well," to Paradox. While saying this, the cards that he is holding in his hand are missing the illustrations. (00:46:00)
Continuity mistake: When Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl prepare to attack, the two press their staffs against each other. Dark Magician Girl is looking at her staff when they do this, but when the shot cuts, she is looking at Paradox. (00:46:13)
Continuity mistake: When Blue Eyes White Dragon destroys Dark Magician, the three main characters brace themselves during the attack. Yugi has his right hand over his face, but when it cuts to a closer shot of him, his arm is raised further up and his hand is positioned toward the left-hand side of his face. (00:49:05)
Character mistake: When Yugi uses the effect of Kuriboh to block Malefic Stardust Dragon's attack, he says, "an ability that lets Kuriboh take the hit from Stardust Dragon instead of us." He specifically refers to the attacking monster as Stardust Dragon and not Malefic Stardust Dragon. (00:51:45)
Other mistake: When Yusei activates the trap card Stardust Mirage, another face-down card can be seen next to it. The card appears to be a second Stardust Mirage and not the Neos Spiral Force trap card that Jaden activates later. (00:53:28)
Continuity mistake: When Elemental Hero Neos returns to the field after Yusei activates Stardust Mirage, its forearms point upwards. But in the next shot, its forearms are crossed. (00:53:38)
Other mistake: When Yusei revives all of the monsters with Stardust Mirage, the defence points of Junk Gardna are 2500, when in actuality, this card has 2600 defence points. (00:53:40)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei are looking over the city after winning the duel, Yugi is standing a fair distance away from Jaden and Yusei. When the shot cuts, Yugi is slightly closer to Jaden and Yusei. (00:55:15)
