Continuity mistake: When Stardust Dragon appears during the duel on the highway, its tail is positioned so that it is aligned with its legs and its wings are still. When the shot cuts, the tail is pointed downwards and its wings are suddenly moving. (00:15:35)
Other mistake: Paradox pulls out a blank card, to which Yusei notices and comments. At this moment, Yusei is driving ahead of Paradox and the two are a fair distance apart, so it would be extremely difficult for him to see what the card looks like from the distance shown. (00:15:40)
Continuity mistake: Paradox shows Yusei the Stardust Dragon card he stole from him by reaching out his left hand and turning his head towards him. When the shot cuts, Paradox is looking straight forwards and his left hand is pulled back. (00:16:20)
Continuity mistake: When Paradox disappears, Yusei, Jack and Crow stop their bikes. Yusei and Crow stop their bikes at an angle to the left, while Jack stops his bike at an angle to the right. But in the next shot, Yusei and Crow's bikes are rotated more to the right and Jack's bike is rotated more to the left. (00:16:35)

Character mistake: While reading the article detailing Yugi winning the Domino Duel Tournament, the first sentence reads, "Yugi does it again!" followed by another sentence starting with the word "Dueling." However, there is no space between the exclamation mark and the word "Dueling." The following sentence starts immediately after the exclamation mark with no space. (00:17:25)
Continuity mistake: When Yusei is talking to Jaden on the roof after saving him, in the wide shot where Yusei asks Jaden if he is OK, Jaden has a bag on the roof with him. The bag is positioned in front of him, but when the shot cuts, it is aligned with his legs. (00:21:02)
Continuity mistake: When Jaden says "Dueling's my game" to Yusei, he raises his right fist. His forearm is at a slanted angle when he does this, but in the next shot, his forearm is more upright. (00:21:13)
Continuity mistake: When Jaden takes his laptop out of his bag, there are two rectangular yellow packs next to it. The yellow packs are positioned in front of the bag, which changes to being positioned on the right-hand side of the bag when the shot cuts. (00:22:45)
Continuity mistake: When Jaden realises that Elemental Hero Neos has disappeared from the card, he is holding the card with one finger pressed against the backside of the card. When the shot cuts, he has two fingers pressed against the backside. (00:23:02)
Continuity mistake: When the dragons start attacking Domino City, in the shot where everyone starts to run away, Yugi and Solomon stand and watch as the buildings get destroyed. Yugi is standing behind Solomon, but when the shot cuts, the two are standing side by side. (00:24:34)
Continuity mistake: After arriving back in time before the dragons attack Domino City, Jaden looks at his Neos card. In the close-up, Jaden's index fingertip is positioned below the card, but in the next shot, his index fingertip is just above the bottom side of the card. (00:26:35)
Revealing mistake: After Yugi turns into the Pharaoh, he says, "I have just one thing to say to you, Paradox: it's time to duel," and then it cuts to a shot of the three main characters. In this shot, the designs on the Millennium Puzzle are missing. (00:31:58)
Continuity mistake: After Paradox summons Malefic Rainbow Dragon, Jaden's arms are lowered. The shot then cuts to Jaden saying, "How dare you," where his right arm is raised. (00:35:52)
Continuity mistake: On Jaden's first turn, he has five cards in his left hand and draws one card from his deck, totalling six cards. He then activates Polymerization (the card he drew), but there are only three cards in his left hand, despite not using any others. (00:37:50)
Other mistake: Jaden tells Paradox that his Neos Knight monster can attack twice, to which Paradox asks, "Two attacks?" When he says this, the monster card on his duel disk is the original Rainbow Dragon and not Malefic Rainbow Dragon, which he has on the field. (00:38:47)
Continuity mistake: When Paradox summons Malefic Paradox Dragon, in the shot of the attack point count being displayed, the entirety of the duel field can be seen, but Jaden's Elemental Hero Neos Knight cannot be seen, even though it should be on the field at this point and is shown on the field when Paradox reduces its attack points. Continuity mistake: When Jaden is about to summon Elemental Mirage, he raises his right arm and points with his entire hand. But in the next shot, he is pointing with only his index finger. (00:42:05)
Continuity mistake: When Yusei tells Yugi, "My cards are your cards," Yugi's left forearm is raised, but in a closer shot of him, his forearm is lowered. (00:43:08)
