Continuity mistake: When Jumba fires the darts at Stitch, he's standing beside the blue water tank. When Stitch jumps to avoid them, the darts suddenly come from the opposite direction to where the tank is.
Continuity mistake: While Lilo lies listening to "Heartbreak Hotel" and says, "Leave me alone to die!", her hair beneath her head shifts position between cuts. (00:11:20)
Continuity mistake: When Lilo grabs the blackboard, the cloth hanging from the corner disappears, only to reappear in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo starts teaching Stitch, the blackboard reads "Make amends." As she keeps talking, the next shot shows the text has changed to "Lend a helping hand." ("Make amends" belongs to a later scene.)
Continuity mistake: As Stitch is dragged across the sand, he holds onto a cooler beside an empty chair. A shot later, a woman appears, seated in the chair.
Other mistake: When a table catches fire at the restaurant, a waiter throws a bucket of water to extinguish it. The manager stands between them at the moment the water flies across at waist level. Notice how the actor needs to crouch down deliberately so that the water lands on his head and soaks him, to allow for the comic effect.
Continuity mistake: On the beach, when Lilo is about to throw the mini basketball at Stitch, there's a multicoloured ball behind him. In the next shot, a blue frisbee has suddenly appeared, and the multicoloured ball is now ahead.
Continuity mistake: Pleakley removes his shower cap, rests it on his shoulder, and watches the hologram. From the opposite angle, both the shower cap and his arm are gone.
Continuity mistake: While the doctor is calming the family, she's holding a blue folder, except for a brief shot when she asks if Stitch is a service dog. At that moment, her right arm is suddenly against her chest, but half a second later she's suddenly holding the folder again.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo is rescued by Nani and placed on the surfboard, her hair is brushed backwards, but a split second later it's brushed to the side. In the following shots, it keeps changing between instant cuts.
Visible crew/equipment: When Cobra gets in the car and raises the window, Nani comes closer to talk to him. At that moment, the moving filming camera on a crane is visible in the side-view mirror.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo checks the broken cage, the left blanket on top isn't hanging near the hole - but in the very next shot, it is. In the following shots, both blankets keep changing positions all the time.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo visits Bailey, his leash suddenly shifts closer to the edge of the cage between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the adoption center, the flower and clipboard on the counter change position in every single shot.
Continuity mistake: Nani chases Lilo, who runs into the house with her mask flying off. The shot cuts to Lilo running past the fridge - and her mask flies off again.
Continuity mistake: When Nani opens the cupboard, the blue bag inside switches from facing sideways to forward.
Continuity mistake: While dancing, before Lilo is pushed down, her hair is wet. When she stands up and notices her mum is absent, her hair is suddenly drier.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo walks past the towel stand, there's a man standing there - but a shot later, a woman suddenly appears out of nowhere.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo is swimming, her hands are empty, but in the next shot, a sandwich suddenly appears in her right hand.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie, Lilo and Nani are looking at their half-destroyed house and David is standing next to Nani, basically touching her shoulder to shoulder. When he's awkwardly talking, there's a shot of Lilo telling him to read the room, and in that shot suddenly David is much further away from Nani. (01:33:34)
