Deliberate mistake: Per his autopsy in Saw IV, John Kramer was 52 years old at the time of his death, and this film takes place between Saw and Saw II. Tobin Bell was around 80 years old at the time of making this film, and thus looks far too old to convincingly play someone in their early 50s. Amanda Young also looks a lot older in this film compared to other entries in the franchise that are chronologically later.

Saw X (2023)
1 deliberate mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Kevin Greutert
Starring: Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Steven Brand
Continuity mistake: SPOILERS: In the post-credits scene, after Henry's trap starts, in the second-to-last shot, you see him sort of start to shake and rear his head back. But then in the next shot, he's no longer shaking. Additionally, his head is down again and he rears it back a second time.
John Kramer: Hello, everyone. It's time to play a game. You all pretended to cure me. But what I have planned for each of you, is very real.
Question: If the plan was to get Cecilia and Parker into the room to trap them in with the gas, then why did John even set up the bloodboarding trap? What would have happened if they both decided to just stand there and watch until the kid or John died? Why not set the machine up so that it "fails," and then Cecilia and Parker would have likely just left them there to starve?
