Jeepers Creepers

Continuity mistake: When the car is skidding out of control, it comes to a stop, camera changes and it comes to a stop again having rotated another 180 degrees. (00:43:40)

Other mistake: When the guy with the stitched up chest dies, Darry starts walking back towards the pipe. In the next shot, it looks as if he's turning around and not walking towards the pipe. It was obviously taken from the previous shot before he saw the stitched up guy.

Factual error: When the Creeper eats the policeman's heart, there is nothing blocking the hole - the tissue above the heart should have collapsed downwards.

Factual error: When the Creeper takes Darry, they are on at least the second story of the building. However Trish can get out to the front of the police station in the time it takes the police to get from one side of the room to the other. (01:17:00)

Continuity mistake: Darry walks towards the light at the end of the tunnel. He then has to turn round to look up the pipe. He shouldn't have to turn round as he was facing the pipe when walking towards it. (00:23:40)

Continuity mistake: When the Creeper bumps their car at the early stages of the film, the boy turns his head to the left to see the back. Then suddenly the camera angle shifts and we see him turn his head to the right this time to see the back, which of course he couldn't have done that quickly.

Continuity mistake: In an early shot, Trish is shown trying to shift a floor mounted manual transmission lever in their car. But you can see the automatic transmission level on the steering column, and it is also in the "park" position.

Audio problem: When trying to hit the creeper with the car, the distance between them and the creeper changes drastically, instantly. (00:55:45)

Continuity mistake: Darry falls into the church basement and has a rip in his shirt with a patch of dirt on his chest. Camera cuts to Trish and back and the dirt has gone. (00:19:30)

Continuity mistake: When Darry and Trish are in the police station and they meet Jezelle, Darry and Jezelle are sitting down and Trish is standing in front of them. Trish's hair is covering her face in the wide shot, but when it cuts to a close-up, her hair is behind her ear.

Continuity mistake: After the cop's head is cut off, the cop car stops perpendicular to the road. When the girl approaches the car, it is nearly parallel to the road.

Other mistake: After the creeper cuts the cop's head off, how could the car both brake and steer?

Trish: The first time I heard that story, I used to think this would be the road I'd die on.

Question: What did Jezelle mean at the police station about the creeper saying "I think it's eaten too many hearts for its own to ever stop."

Answer: Since the Creeper needs various body parts i.e. eyes to see, lungs to breathe, it would also need to eat the hearts of its victims for its own heart to keep beating. Or she could mean that the Creeper is essentially devoid of all emotions as it keeps attacking anybody that has the body parts that it needs to extend its own life.
