Visible crew/equipment: When Melissa dodges the truck that has fallen from sky and Dusty rushes to open a door and help Melissa get out of the truck, the reflection of a camera is seen in the bottom right corner of the truck window. As they move out and pan to the right, you can see a reflection of the same camera and cameraman at the bottom right corner of the truck door as they move away. (00:33:50)
Visible crew/equipment: Near the beginning of the movie when Bill and Mellisa are on their way to get the divorce papers signed, you can see the reflection on the passenger side window of the helicopter and the cameraman. A few shots later when the camera angle is in front of the Dodge, you can see a brief reflection of the brake lights from the camera truck in the rear window of the Dodge. (00:07:50)
Visible crew/equipment: When they are trapped in the garage and the tornado is whipping through, if you look real close when the debris is falling on them you can see (very quickly) a crew member throwing trash in the background.
Visible crew/equipment: As Jo and Bill take off from Meg's, the boom mic is briefly reflected in the glass.
Visible crew/equipment: When Melissa is meeting the chase crew, she answers her phone. As she does, the film crew and equipment is reflected in her shades.
Visible crew/equipment: When Jo shuts her door after setting up Dorothy III during the final monster tornado scene, the heads of three crew members are reflected in the silver window frame.
Visible crew/equipment: There's a shot late in the movie at Helen Hunt's Aunt's house - the camera shows all of her home made "wind chimes" blowing in the wind. As the camera pans in and shows a little man sawing or axing something, you see a human hand appear near the bottom of the screen as the camera leaves the scene.
Visible crew/equipment: When the twister is heading for the drive-in movie theater, as Bill is running towards the garage, you can easily see the shadow of the Steadicam operator and a grip guy on the ground about 2 feet away from Bill's shadow.
Visible crew/equipment: When Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt are driving up to Aunt Meg's house after the tornado has hit, you see a shot of the ruined home as they drive up. If you look carefully, you can see wires hanging coming out from the top of the house to keep it from collapsing until the filmmakers were ready.
Visible crew/equipment: When the red Dodge truck stops spinning after the "sisters" tornado has gone, as the camera moves up the truck to focus on the occupants, you can see part of the camera rigging reflected on the truck wing/fender.
Visible crew/equipment: After leaving Wakita, Bill and Jo are driving through a cornfield. The cornfield merges into the main road and their truck almost runs into Jonas' fleet. As the truck enters the road, you can see a crew member poking his head up from the corn across the road. Watch above the driver's side mirror.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Billy and Jo go into Jo's aunt's house to rescue her after a tornado has gone through Wakita, they hear things falling. When they jump over a break in the floor, if you look closely, there is a crewman in a white shirt that runs across the gap.
Visible crew/equipment: When Jo is introduced to Melissa, Melissa says, "It probably seems kinda sudden." Look into her sunglasses when she says this; you can see a rectangular shaped figure. Figure of the camera, possibly?
Visible crew/equipment: When Bill's fiance is driving over after the first tornado, when the truck lands, she swerves and she stops. As she is getting out, a camera is visible. When the camera backs up though, a crew-member pulling it back is visible in the door.
Visible crew/equipment: When the crew is leaving Jo's aunts house, as the Red Dodge truck pulls out of the scene you can see the reflection of the camera and entire boom mic and pole in the 2nd window on the driver's side.
Visible crew/equipment: Near the beginning, Jo is in Beltzer's van fixing a wire. At the beginning of this shot, the camera moves down from high before she opens the door. As it's doing this, you can make out a reflection of it on the glass.
Visible crew/equipment: At Aunt Meg's house, Jo is taking a shower. There are two shots of her washing her hair. In the second one, the camera is blatantly reflected in the glass, left screen.
Visible crew/equipment: After Bill and Jo crash through the house, they plow into the cornfield chasing the twister. Dark shadows of the film truck behind them are quite visible as they close in on the roaring tornado. (01:36:27 - 01:37:15)
Visible crew/equipment: As the camera pans up to Jo on top of the van, the camera rig is reflected on the side.
Visible crew/equipment: When Dusty is showing off the new improved sensors, he is twisting one with his hand. The camera is blatantly visible reflected in it.
Answer: No double meanings. Jo just sees the lethal-looking farm equipment (which is ordinary equipment that many farmers have) and in her panicked state wonders who would have such dangerous things in their barn, as though they were serial killers or something. Bill's "I don't think so!" just means they're not hiding in the barn where they could get impaled or decapitated at any second.
