Trivia: When Burt fires his BFG at the lone shrieker in front of the brick wall, he's firing a real version of the gun and using a slightly less devastating round than the in-movie version.

Suggested correction: I do not understand this trivia at all. This is basically just saying that the movie is simulating the gunfire by using a less lethal or blank round, which is how virtually all movies handle guns. I don't see how this is trivia.

Audio problem: In the scene where the Grabboid is pulling the truck with the chain attached and the guy is trying to shoot it, the gun noises do not match up with the muzzle flashes at all. At one point it is obvious he fires 2 shots, and yet 4 "bangs" can be heard.

Burt Gummer: I am completely out of ammo. That's never happened to me before.

Trivia: The design of the main arachnid-like "bugs" from "Starship Troopers" is actually a slightly modified version of an earlier unused design for the "Shriekers" from this film. Some of the same effects artists worked on both movies.
