Continuity mistake: At the western bar Louise is drinking a margarita. As the shot goes back and forth between Thelma & Louise, the contents of the drink magically decrease and increase again. The level of Thelma's coke rises as well, when Harlan leaves them. (00:14:00)

Trivia: During the scene when Thelma decides to join Louise and flee to Mexico, the song playing in the background is "La Adelita", which is a tune dating from the Mexican Revolution celebrating women who fought alongside the men in battle.
