Visible crew/equipment: After the opening credits and intro at the start, in the first shot, just before the 'Britton and Sons Hats' glass door begins to open inward, the reflection of the camera and cameraman can be seen on the glass surface. (00:01:40)

Other mistake: In the air combat part of the film, there are two close-up shots of an attacking plane which is a P-47 Thunderbolt. Also, in a couple of brief shots of a single aircraft attacking from the rear, it's definitely a Spitfire. The Spitfire at 01:44:53 and the P-47 at 01:47:07. (01:44:53 - 01:47:07)

General Savage: No, Sir. I didn't hear a thing. It must have been radio malfunction.
General Pritchard: Do you mean you're going to stick to that fairy tale?
General Savage: Yes, sir. There's one more thing you might as well know, sir. The 918th got through today, and bombed the target when nobody else did. And if Providence ever drops into my lap, another chance like that to give this group the pride it out to have in itself, I may have radio malfunction again, sir.
