Continuity mistake: After young Donna and Bill are swimming back to the boat, Donna climbs up into the deck wearing a full face mask. In the long shot we see her turn around still wearing the mask. In the very next shot she sits down but the mask has vanished completely.

Correction: People can remortgage properties to release money tied up in them. A reasonable thing to do given the state of the farmhouse. Remortgage it, get money and fix it up.
