Other mistake: In Jurassic World, we are told that the Gyrosphere can stop a .50 calibre bullet. When it falls into the sea in this film, Owen shoots some holes in it using a pistol and manages to prise the door off using a small knife.
Other mistake: When the Indoraptor bites off Wheatley's arm, there is absolutely no blood coming from such a massive wound. The remnants of his torn shirt are completely dry.
Continuity mistake: When Ken Wheatley is pointing his tranquilizer gun at Zia after he shot Owen, he puts the gun in his left hand and uses his right hand to wave his men down, but mid wave, the camera cuts to a different angle and he is waving with his left hand while holding the gun in his right hand. Question: After the inevitable disaster had begun, Owen, Claire and Maisie became hunted by the indoraptor. Why did Owen turn off all the lights when making their escape?
Answer: It makes it harder for the Indoraptor to navigate and to see them as they attempt to hide and escape.
