Revealing mistake: Inside Jurassic World's main control room, Chris Pratt looks at a view screen depicting a paramilitary team tracking down the escaped I-Rex. In an homage to the film Aliens, the screen is complete with POV cam footage and heart rate monitors. Unfortunately, the FX team didn't catch the fact that all four people are shown having identical heart rates. Ridley Scott made the same mistake in Prometheus. (00:44:00)Sean4000
Plot hole: Even if boys of that age had the technical know-how to quickly repair Jeeps over 20 years old (seriously?), any gasoline in the tank would have long become unusable, the tires and lines would have rotted away, and the electrics would all be dead. Now if it was in the desert or a dry garage, it may have survived, but it's on a tropical island, in a shed that has all sorts of holes in the roof, leaving it exposed to every kind of weather the island could throw at it. In addition, the kids start the jeep with the small battery of an ATV, which cannot produce enough power to crank a Jeep engine.
Other mistake: When Chris Pratt is driving his bike along with the raptors the terrain is completely covered with bushes and broken trees and in couple of shots the raptors themselves were seen jumping over it, but he is able to cruise smoothly without any after effects of the bumpy road. Continuity mistake: Just before the Indominus Rex ambush, in one shot the Asset Containment Unit trooper Meyers is equipped with a taser-rifle. In the next, she's equipped with a cattle prod. This happens at least twice. (00:46:10)
Continuity mistake: In the first helicopter scene, the pilot can be seen with his headset wire underneath the microphone on his headset, but when they cut to the next shot the headset wire is running over the microphone on his headset. They switch multiple times during the conversation he and Claire are having. (00:13:15 - 00:14:00)
Trivia: When the pterosaur flies into the restaurant, a man in a blue denim shirt wearing a safari-brim tan fedora and a red handkerchief tied around his neck can be seen jumping away from the creature. It is not Alan Grant, but this extra was dressed in the same outfit Dr. Grant wore in the original Jurassic Park.Phixius
