Trivia: Michael Gross is the only actor to appear in every "Tremors" project thus far, appearing in all five films (and he is scheduled to appear in the upcoming sixth film as well), in addition to the short-lived Sci-Fi Channel TV-show.
Trivia: Had the longest gap between films for any movie in the series. "Tremors 2: Aftershocks" was released six years after the original. "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection" was released five years after "Tremors 2." And "Tremors 4: The Legend Begins" was released three years after "Tremors 3." By contrast, "Tremors 5: Bloodlines" was released a full eleven years after "Tremors 4."
Trivia: The first film in the series without any direct involvement from creators Brent Maddock and S.S. Wilson. While the film is very loosely based on a story-treatment written by the two back in 2004, the finished film only takes some very basic and minor cues from their draft, and as a result, they were not credited. The two backed away from the project early on, when they found out they were not going to have complete creative control.
Trivia: Although the series creators were not involved in the film, the lead screenwriter John Whelpley has some history with the series - he was also the lead screenwriter for "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection."
