4.5/10. Something of the 90's revived that truly didn't need to be revived. Elizabeth Banks looks like Aquaman's sister with a Fu Man Chu nail fetish. Watch it if you're a hardocre fan, for me it was "Ehh. "

Plot hole: After Rita kills Billy, why didn't any of the other rangers do something to help him? They could have very easily done CPR on him or at least called for an ambulance.

Suggested correction: (1) they did...they took him to Zordon. (2) These are high school kids. Have you ever seen any slasher flick before? Not every HS kid knows CPR.

DetectiveGadget85

Every high school lifeguard that ever existed.

Suggested correction: They may have not been in range with cellphone towers to get a good enough signal. Also, they had superpowers including super strength so doing CPR on Billy would have been very dangerous and would have probably hurt him even more.

More mistakes in Power Rangers

Zordon: The answer to what is happening to you is here. You five are the Power Rangers.
Zack Taylor: Did I just hear you say we're Power Rangers?
Kimberly Hart: Is this some kind of joke? We're talking to a wall.
Alpha 5: I was kind of expecting a little more.

Answer: It is implied that she has died, her body freezing as it drifts towards the moon.

raywest

Answer: No, she's not dead. This show seems to be following similarly to the original TV show. In the show, she was in a stasis like state trapped in a "trash can" on the moon. After she escapes this prison, she sets up her evil base with Lord Zed on the moon and continues to attack Angel Grove and the Rangers from the Moon. So her being blasted towards the Moon at the end of this reboot is a set up for her establishing a similar base of operations like in the show in the sequels. If the sequels ever get out of development hell.
