Answer: In The Wolfman, it is implied Talbot transformed every night. For Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, the story required that it only happen occasionally (allowing him to travel to Europe without becoming a beast every night). Therefore, the lore was reconned to state that he only changed during the full moon.
