Continuity mistake: When the Brand X general is saying "Very touching" after the Ikes perform, Polar Penguin is looking at the general, but in the next shot, he is looking at Dex. (00:51:25)
Audio problem: When Francois Fromage tells the Brand X general that he is not a Brand X product, but in fact Francois Fromage, his mouth doesn't line up with the dialogue. (00:49:55)
Revealing mistake: When Vlad puts the gum in his mouth, the gum floats into his mouth, rather than being thrown into his mouth. (01:00:05)
Other mistake: When Dex is walking down an empty street, Cheasel appears between his legs before moving his body around so that he is in front of Dex, whilst his head and neck remain in the same position. If Cheasel had his head and neck between Dex's legs, he would not have been able to move his body around Dex, as Dex's legs would have been in the way. (00:29:15)
Continuity mistake: Lady X kicks a giant fish tank causing it to smash, and leave some of the fish leaping on a small four step walkway, but when the birds in the cage put on helmets, the fish have disappeared from the steps. (00:31:55)
Continuity mistake: When Dex and Lady X are dancing, a Brand X machine gets damaged when it gets spilt in water. When sparks begin emerging from the machine, Dex and Lady X are standing right next to it, but in the next shot, they are suddenly standing far away from it. (00:32:20)
Continuity mistake: At the Copa-Banana, when Dex is at the bar, Lady X begins talking with him and Dex then stands up to talk to her, whilst still standing beside the bar. He remains standing in the same place as they talk, but when Dan appears, Dex is suddenly standing much further away from the bar. (00:19:50)
Revealing mistake: When Dex pours himself a cup of milk after leaving the Copa-Banana, the shot pans around the the table. When the shot pans around the milk carton and cup, Dex's legs have been animated over the edge of the table, giving the impression that he is hovering over the table. (00:22:15)
Audio problem: When Lady X appears in Dex's apartment, she is holding a disc that she throws backwards. A glass shattering sound effect is heard, but there are no glass objects shown where the disc was thrown. If it was the disc that was shattered, then the glass shattering sound effect being played was the incorrect sound effect to play. (00:22:40)
Continuity mistake: When Dex takes Sunshine over to her dinner, Dex is carrying Sunshine and spinning her around. There is a shot from behind them where Maximilius says "All right. Your table's ready", where Dex stops spinning Sunshine around, but in the next shot, Dex finishes the last spin a second time. (00:07:20)
Revealing mistake: After Mr. Clipboard stomps on the bag of chips, Mr. Leonard begins to walk over to it saying that was a perfectly good bag of chips. In the far background, there is a sign in the background listing what is located in the aisle. The shot begins to pan in towards Leonard, and some of the animation on the sign in the background becomes erased, leaving some of the colour and detail on the sign incomplete. (00:11:35)
Continuity mistake: After Dan wakes up Dex, he tells him he misses Sunshine too, whilst looking down at the floor, but in the next shot he's looking at Dex. (00:12:35)
Continuity mistake: After Dex finished reading the headlines from the articles about Sunshine's disappearance to Dan, he starts speaking to Dan. When he starts talking with Dan, saying "The only case...", his arms are by his side, but as soon as the shot cuts, his right hand is suddenly near raised. (00:13:10)
Continuity mistake: When Dex is walking up to the Copa-Banana, the red carpet stops once it reaches the steps towards the entrance of the Copa-Banana, but in the next shot, the red carpet is now shown continuing onto the steps, finishing at the entrance. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: In the Copa-Banana, Charlie the Tuna is walking with a soldier. In one shot, Charlie the Tuna and the soldier are right next to each other, but in the next shot, there is a visible gap between the two. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: One character asks Dex to help him or he will go bald. Suddenly it cuts to Mr. Clean for the joke and he's just suddenly there. He was not in the rest of the scene or shots before that moment, and suddenly he's just there after that joke.
Suggested correction: Mr. Clean is seen multiple times throughout the scene before Hairy Hold says he'll go bald. In the establishing shot when it pans over to the group, and Hairy Hold says "Why did I agree to run the United Supermarket Defence Association", Mr. Clean is seen, albeit towards the corner of the shot slightly away from the group. He is seen more in the following shot when Dex arrives in scene. He is seen again when Maximilius starts saying "We all know when a product loses its icon...", and seen again when standing behind Hairy Hold when he says they have to find Dan. In the shots where Mr. Clean cannot be seen on-screen, he is simply just off-screen standing slightly away from the rest of the group.
Continuity mistake: When Maximillius and the frog are talking about Benjamin Franklin outside the Copa-Banana, the frog's shadow is behind him in one shot, but in front of him in the next. (01:12:40)
Other mistake: When Dex pulls on the rug to make the general fall backwards, the general's reaction is delayed. Dex pulls on the rug, and then it takes a full second for the general to fall. (01:14:05)
Continuity mistake: When Lady X begins beating up Dex, Dan says to sugar smack upside her prune head, and a muscular man is seen in the background standing next to Mr. Clean. This man disappears two shots later. (01:19:10)
Other mistake: The Brand X general instructs two of his soldiers to seal Dex and Dan into Mr. Leonard's office. The two soldiers do this by jumping onto a tube of glue which squirts onto the top of the door, moves around to the edge of the top and moves downwards, however the soldiers only jumped on the glue. They did not do anything to move the trajectory or direction of the glue. (00:43:50)
