Revealing mistake: When Lady X is introducing herself to Dex in the Copa-Banana, in the shot where she says "I've heard so much about you", there is an extra visible in the far background who appears to be floating in the air, and was not animated into the shot very well. (00:19:50)
Continuity mistake: When Dex shows Dan the cases he is yet to solve, he reads the headlines from the articles on his cork board to Dan, saying "Raisin riddle a mystery. Leads dry as prunes." Whilst he is saying the line, he is directly facing the cork board, but in the next shot, he is suddenly standing perpendicular to the cork board. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: When Cheasel is attempting to entice Dex with some products, there is a wall visible in the background behind him. The shot cuts to an extreme close-up of Dex, but when the shot cuts back to Cheasel, he is suddenly much further away from the wall, than when he was shown two shots prior. (00:16:00)
Continuity mistake: When Dex stomps on the milk carton at his wedding, the rabbi is wearing a dark blue/grey outfit, but in the next shot is wearing a much lighter blue outfit. (01:21:35)
Revealing mistake: Whenever we see Mr. Clipboard, his pants clip through his coat.
Continuity mistake: When Brand X leave the Copa-Banana, Lola says to Dex they couldn't discontinue him. When she says this, Maximillius begins to walk up to him, but in the next shot, has disappeared. (00:51:45)
Continuity mistake: After Lady X says Dex is on the roof, the Brand X army begin to walk over. They are standing in direct sunlight, but in the next shot, most of the street is in shadow. (00:53:45)
Revealing mistake: When Kaptain Krispy collapses in his bowl of potato chips, some chips fly out of the plate, but the overall amount of chips never lowers. (00:18:40)
Continuity mistake: The bar that Dex sits at in the Copa-Banana has stools around it, but when Kaptain Krispy stands up, the stools have disappeared. (00:19:50)
Other mistake: After the first Copa-Banana scene, Dex is back at his apartment and pours some milk into a cup. When he finishes pouring, some of the milk he was pouring spills onto the table and the milk that is spilled on the table begin to land to the left of the cup. The shot then pans around to close in on the cup of milk, and an error occurs in the animation, as in the same shot, the spilled milk moves around the cup to a different position at another side of the cup. Continuity mistake: When Dex and the others are looking over the dead bodies, Lady X arrives and tells everyone her alibi whilst standing beside Dex, but in the next shot, Lady X has suddenly disappeared from beside Dex. (00:24:50)
Other mistake: Whilst Dan's plane is crashing the second time, there is a shot from behind the plane where it shows the plane headed for a tree and also shows the plane mere meters from it. Dan spends the next twenty to thirty seconds trying to maneuver the plane and also attempting to pull the ejector seat, before finally crashing into the tree. Given the short distance between the plane and the tree in the reverse angle and also the twenty to thirty second gap of Dan attempting to maneuver the plane, as well as eject, the plane would have definitely crashed into the tree in a much quicker time than Dan had spent attempting to fix the plane. Continuity mistake: As Dan's plane is crashing into the tree, in the shot where a gnome is heard saying "Women and children second. Gnomes first, gnomes first", Dan is in the pilot seat sitting down. In the next shot, Dan is suddenly standing in the seat, whilst hitting the plane with a hammer. (00:14:35)
Continuity mistake: When Dex is inside the Copa-Banana, he walks past Charlie the Tuna, but when the shot cuts to Charlie the Tuna, Dex is suddenly nowhere in sight. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: When Dex tells the Fat Cat Burglar he is giving him one last chance, the hamster in yellow behind him is standing mostly still with some upper body movements, but in the next shot, the hamster in yellow is suddenly spinning around in circles. (00:02:55)
Continuity mistake: When Dex says the secret is inside to the reporter, the hamster henchman lands on the ground behind him, but a couple of shots later, they have disappeared. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: When Dex shows Dan the four carrots ring he plans on giving to Sunshine, as Dan says "You got four carrots?", Dex's hand is around a couple of inches away from Dan. The shot then cuts to a closer angle of Dan and Dex's hand is nowhere in sight. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: When Dan tells Dex he could give Sunshine a crackerjack ring and she'd still say yes, his shadow is behind him, but in the next shot, his shadow is more off to his right. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: When Francois Fromage dies, Lola is holding nothing in her hands, but in the next shot, she is suddenly holding a sheet to place over him. (01:06:45)
