Revealing mistake: In the opening shot, when it pans towards Mr. Leonard and the old lady, the street lamp that is positioned to the right of Mr. Leonard's car begins to pass in front of the car even though it is placed on the other side of it. (00:00:20)
Revealing mistake: In the laboratory, when Dex tells the doctor he needs him to analyse what he borrowed from Lady X, it is apparent that when Dex first shows it the doctor, there is nothing in his hand. He just appears to be pretending to hold something. It is not until two shots later, that the object he shows to the doctor is visibly in his hand. (00:37:25)
Revealing mistake: When Dex and Sunshine are reunited, the two are face to face, but her eyes do not line with where Dex's eyes or face are located. (01:14:45)
Revealing mistake: During the food fight, after Mr. Clean hurls a watermelon from the roof top, it lands on the ground, causing a pink explosion and a few shots are shown of the Brand X soldiers being blasted back and landing on the ground. In one shot of the soldiers landing on the ground after the watermelon explodes, some of the soldiers can be seen floating above the ground. (00:55:25)
Revealing mistake: After Dex has the bowls of hot chocolate poured over the roof, the rest of the Ikes then begin throwing food off the roof at the Brand X army. Most of the food that they are throwing just appears to be popping up on the screen from practically nowhere. (00:54:35)
Revealing mistake: When the Ikes are throwing food off the roof at the Brand X army, Mrs. Butterworth says "Take that, dear" whilst throwing pancakes from a large pile towards the army. The first pancake she throws lifts itself off the pile before she touches it. (00:55:10)
Revealing mistake: Many of the animated extras shown outside the red carpet at the Copa-Banana are shown waving and cheering, but not at any actual person walking along the red carpet. They just appear to be cheering towards the carpet, but there is no-one standing or walking in the direction they are looking towards. (00:16:45)

Revealing mistake: The exact same shot of Mr. Leonard's car beginning to pull out of the store after closing Marketropolis is used three different times in the movie. The first time is one minute into the movie. The exact same shot is used 11 mins 55 secs into the movie after Brand X visits. The third time is 41 mins 55 secs into the movie after Dex and Dan get into the office. This shown by the car being parked in the exact same place, the car showing the exact same movements and the car hitting a trolley, all positioned in the same place, on each occasion. Revealing mistake: When Dan is crashing his plane the first time, just as Maximillius shouts "He's gonna crash again", both he and Sunshine are looking upwards towards Dan. Dex is looking upwards in the same direction, but his eyes are facing a different direction than the direction Sunshine and Maximillius is looking. (00:08:30)
Revealing mistake: When Sunshine is playing ball with the children, she is shown kicking a melon up and down. As the shot pans around, the melon can be seen passing in front of a kid standing towards the foreground. (00:05:40)

Revealing mistake: When Dex is first introduced, he is standing on top of a hot air balloon with four hairless hamster henchmen and the Fat Cat Burglar surrounding him. When Dex first appears onscreen, the henchman wearing yellow behind him can be seen with his right leg floating above the hot air balloon surface. (00:02:50)
