Corrected entry: Ray has a tattoo on the back of his neck saying "Ray" which is made very clear during a scene at the start of the film, but it later disappears.
Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie when the priests are cleaning up from the "throw up" there is a small glob of something on the one priest's head in one shot, then in the next it is gone. (00:06:20)
Correction: In between these two shots there was plenty of time for James Woods character to wipe that glob of whatever off his forehead. He has it on his head as he and Andy Richter clean themselves up after the throw up fight. The very next shot is of Natasha Lyonne talking to Woods and Richter. This shot takes about four seconds before we see Woods character saying "Let us pray" with a clean forehead.
I have been trying to find the answer to this myself. It looks like a nasty bruise or... Something. Seems to me to be completely out of sync with all the other stuff going on in that whole scene.
Corrected entry: In the dining room when Cindy enters the room, there's a shot of Buddy when he hits Cindy on the right shoulder. The next shot, when Cindy falls and lies on the ground, she's hurt on her left shoulder. (00:21:45)
Corrected entry: Brenda asks Dwight for some walkie talkies, yet a moment later she protests the group splitting up and insists everyone needs to stay together. Why would she want walkie talkies if she doesn't want the group to split?
Correction: Characters are allowed to have a change of mind. Or maybe she wanted the walkie talkies in case the group did spilt up even though she wanted them to stay together.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Tori Spelling is looking for the ghost, she has the goggles on top of her head. The ghost starts to fight her, and sometime during the fight her goggles mysteriously disappear.
Correction: Not surprising that goggles would fall off her head in a fight.
Corrected entry: The spot on the right side of Hanson, the caretaker's nose disappears, reappears, changes sizes and moves to a different place on his nose throughout the movie.
Correction: This is done for comedic effect, and in fact is alluded to by one of the characters in the movie.
Corrected entry: On the front of the DVD and video cover of Scary Movie 2, Hanson, the caretaker is seen eating popcorn with his left hand. In the movie his left hand is deformed but it is normal on the cover. This is an unusual mistake as his character is centered around the hand.
Correction: Movie posters are often different than what is depicted in the actual movie. They are artistic impressions, and as such can't be considered a movie mistake. The poster is not the movie.
Corrected entry: Just before the three main female characters go after the caretaker and go into "Charlie's Angels" mode, the red-head is seen wearing a thong, yet after when they take off their clothes and appear in their underwear she is wearing lingerie instead.
Correction: And I suppose every other scene in the movie makes complete sense. The whole point of some of the gags are that they are disjointed and impossible, this is just a gag that serves a purpose, like much of the movie, nothing more. Only seconds later they show up in full "Charlie's Angels" gear from out of nowhere, but it isn't a mistake, just an essential gag in the plot.
Corrected entry: During Dwight's wheelchair duel with Kaine, he crashes through several statues, but there's no way he could be carrying enough momentum to get through them all without stopping.
Correction: This was done for the purpose of comedy. It's not meant to be taken seriously.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the butler helps Cindy take her stuff up to her room, he has a spoon in his mouth. When they are upstairs, the spoon is gone.
Correction: Firstly, it is Cindy's toothbrush in his mouth. Secondly, the two shots have a long time gap in between - the shot cuts from them being downstairs in front of the kitchen, to then opening the door to upstairs, giving a time gap long enough for him to take the toothbrush out of his mouth.
Corrected entry: In the opening scene of the exorcist, Natasha Lyonne is supposed to be tied, but when she projectile vomits her hands are loose, and then tied right back up again. (00:04:50 - 00:06:35)
Correction: I've checked the vomit scene thoroughly, and her hands are tied to the bed the whole time.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Cindy is running from the skeleton, she runs into a room where Shorty is hiding. Buddy had just put a "KILL HER" sign on her back, which you can see as she is going in through the door to the room with Shorty, but when the shot changes to show her in the room with Shorty, the sign is gone.
Correction: The sign could have fallen off, or she could have found it and torn it off. The scene with her and Shorty is a new scene.
Corrected entry: At one point, Shorty says that, to get rid of something invisible, you should wear the shampoo for two weeks. If the Spanish subtitles are on, the translation uses the number "quince" refering to the number of days. Quince is Spanish for 15. As we know, two weeks is only 14 days.
Correction: In Spanish (and in French), the expression "fifteen days" means two weeks, which explains why the Spanish subtitles use the number 15.
Corrected entry: In the fight scene with Cindy and the cat, Cindy's hair is dry, then the slo-mo punch comes and her hair is wet from sweat, then her hair is dry again. This happens throughout the whole scene.
Correction: This is done on purpose. It's mocking scenes from 'Rocky' and basically every boxing film ever made. It's actually very clear to pick up on this point from the actions of both characters.
Corrected entry: In the scene where whole group enters the lab and decides to hunt down the ghost, Tori Spelling's character enters into the room with everyone else and puts her hand on Kathleen Robertson's breast. As the scene moves on, she is no longer in the shot or in the room while the guns and goggles are given out - and is still missing when they split up. In Tori's next scene, she does have a gun and a pair of goggles.
Correction: Tori Spelling is there when Dwight hands out the goggles and the gun. After that, it's safe to assume that she sneaks away to find Huey.
Correction: The part of his neck where the tattoo is located is covered by clothing for the remainder of the movie.
