Continuity mistake: When Ranulf is in bed and explaining the fate of his village to the nun, in the close-up shot of them the nun is facing away from Ranulf but when the shot changes to a wide shot of the room she is now facing toward him and then back to the close-up shot, and she is facing away again. Trivia: Although Ferdy Mayne plays Jack Palance's father, he was only three years older than Palance.
