Rocky III

Other mistake: At the beginning of the scene when Rocky's statue is unveiled and Clubber Lang challenges Rocky to a fight, the camera zooms out of one of the drums that is being played and it is easy to spot that Mr. T's signature is scrawled right across the centre of the drum.

Other mistake: In one fight scene, the word "Clubber" that is written on Mr. T's shorts is reversed. It is a flipped shot.

Other mistake: During the shots set in Los Angeles, a group of pedestrians can be seen looking directly into the camera and smirking.

Sacha

Other mistake: As Rocky leaves his dressing room to go to the ring before the first fight with Lang, Lang appears from upstairs behind Rocky and there is a scuffle in the corridor. This means that Rocky would have arrived at the ring first had Lang not confronted him in the corridor. As defending champion, Rocky would have arrived in the ring after Lang. The champion always enters the ring second.

Suggested correction: It's not known that the corridor led directly to the ring. It's possible, likely, that it went to separate rooms nearer the ring where the fighters would wait to make their entrances. This would simplify the final wall from room to ring.

Visible crew/equipment: Just before the second fight with Clubber and just after the pre-fight brawl, when the camera switches to the shot of Rocky and Apollo you can see a director's chair at the top left of the screen with "Mr. T" written on it. (01:22:50)

Trivia: When Rocky takes a swig of water from the bottle during the rematch with Clubber Lang, he spits the water into the bucket and some of it goes onto Paulie's shirt. Watch for Burt Young's genuine reaction.

Question: In Rocky II we're told Rocky suffered an eye injury, a detached retina. However, in this film that's suddenly no longer an issue. What happened in between?

Answer: A detached retina can be fixed with surgery, and since Rocky is now well-off, we can assume he did just that.
