Factual error: Tammy hits a buck with her car, which has polished antlers. The next day her and her grandmother are in the woods, and they see another buck, whose antlers aren't fully developed, still in velvet. These two scenes would have to be several months apart for antlers to be that different.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Tammy's boss is firing her, the clip on his tie keeps switching back and forth from being crooked or straight.
Factual error: Franchised chain restaurants always use the same beverage products in each of their stores. But in the beginning, the Topper Jacks that Tammy works at has Coke Products, yet the one she later robs has Pepsi.
Continuity mistake: When Tammi's boss is firing her, behind him is the file cabinet. Every time they pan over to him the file cabinet is open, then closed, and there's different files every time.
Continuity mistake: When Tammy tries to drive through the trees and gets stuck, in one shot she drives through so the tree is up next to the side mirror past the wheel-well. But in the next shot, the car has moved back and the tree is next to the wheel-well, without her reversing.
Character mistake: When the police come to find Tammy, they say they are looking for a 2004 Cadillac Deville. It is a 1997 Seville in the movie.
Continuity mistake: When Tammy and Pearl are in the riverside park singing Midnight Rider, a boat passes slowly behind them towards the left of the screen. In one quick shot, the view of the boat is blocked by Tammy, but then the boat never reappears in the scene and the wake has disappeared, with no time for the boat to have moved completely offscreen.
