Continuity mistake: When Pancho Vanilla puts his gun in the hole of the trap he has set for Speedy, the gun is resting on the ground. In the next shot, it is now on the top of the hole.

Continuity mistake: When Speedy is standing in the doorway of Pancho Vanilla's hut, you can see there is nothing behind him on the drive, but in the next shot more flat stones have appeared.

Continuity mistake: When we see a close-up of the meter, there is a box saying "10 Centavos for One Hour." The words were not in the box in the previous shot.

Trivia: The first of 37 cartoons produced for Warner Brothers by the newly formed DePatie-Freleng Enterprises (producer David H. DePatie and director Friz Freleng). The studio became best known for creating The Pink Panther.
