At the start of term feast, after Harry is sorted into Gryffindor, he sits down on the right side of the table next to Ron. When the feast appears, Harry is on the other side of the table, next to Hermione.
After Quirrell announces there's a troll in the dungeon, Dumbledore shouts, "Silence!" and soon continues, "Teachers will follow me to the dungeons." In the following shot of McGonagall, the wires that the candles hang from are plainly visible.
As Hermione walks toward the troll, just before she asks, "Is it dead?" the long towel hanging from the rod beside the sinks is visibly straight. When Harry lifts his wand with troll booger/bogey, in the shot of him as he grimaces and groans, the towel on the rod is visible behind him and it's messy. Yet when McGonagall, Snape and Quirrell walk in, the long towel is straight again.

In the first exterior shot through the back patio door, as the Dursleys eat, the kitchen window and patio set below are visibly quite far from the white patio enclosure. Later, when Vernon falls to the ground as Marge floats away, Petunia runs to him and now the kitchen window, on a supposed brick wall, is actually right beside the white patio enclosure. Adding to the absurdity, the entire house is in the opening shot of the film and that middle part of the wall is conspicuously missing. Additionally, even the bricks and stone top of the seat wall between the tiled patio and grass have changed.
When Harry boards the Knight Bus in the exterior shot, the curtain in the small window at the stairs is pushed open towards the outside of the bus. However, in the next interior shot the curtain is pushed open towards the inside of the bus.
During the class with Hagrid, sometimes Ron has his Monster Book of Monsters under his arm and sometimes he doesn't have it.
At the end, the wound on Harry's left cheek changes from a series of small scratches when he says good-bye to Dumbledore to a deeper more singular wound when he says good-bye to Ron and Hermione.
When HRH are in the Great Hall, there is a toast caddy on the table in front of Harry. Certain pieces of toast disappear and reappear or rearrange themselves, depending on the camera angle, from the start of this scene when Harry dribbles on himself, through Ron's reaction to his dress robes.
After Wormtail performs the Avada Kedavra curse and then raises the "bone of the father," he places Voldemort's wand inside the left side of his coat, before he slices off his right hand. When Voldemort says, "My wand Wormtail," Wormtail retrieves the wand from the right side of his coat.
There are two scenes during which Harry is shown having visions of the Dept of Mysteries while he is asleep. The first scene occurs after Harry's confrontation with Seamus in the Gryffindor common room. There are shots of Harry lying in bed wearing a short sleeve, crew neck tee shirt, but when he is startled awake by the vision of Voldemort, he sits up wearing a buttoned henley tee. The next day is the first day of Defence Against the Dark Arts class with Umbridge. That last shot of Harry in the henley tee shirt was cut from a later scene. Later in the film, when Harry has the vision of Arthur Weasley's attack, he is wearing the henley tee shirt.
In her office, when Umbridge adds sugar to her tea, she places the spoon on the saucer. When Harry walks in and she says, "You're going to be doing some lines today," there is a close-up of the tea cup and the spoon is gone. After a brief close-up of Harry, the spoon reappears.
At the playground, when Dudley and Harry have a confrontation, Dudley wears black shorts with large white designs of words and numbers. When Dudley and Harry enter the tunnel and then later, when yumpy Dudley is in his house, Dudley's shorts have completely different designs (though it is the same type of shorts).
At the Three Broomsticks, when Slughorn and Harry speak, Slughorn holds a silver mug with a high foam head, but in the shot facing Harry, before Slughorn actually spills the drink the mug's foam head is gone (visible at the bottom of the screen), only to reappear when he spills it on Hermione ,whereupon the same previous angle is shown again without the foam.
After drinking the poison in Slughorn's office, Ron falls and in the overhead shots the top of his head is near the rug's edge, but in side shots his head is well below the large diamond pattern, more than a foot away from the edge.
