Second Date - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: At the deli, Jane orders plain bagels with cream cheese. When she gets home, she has everything bagels with lox.
Factual error: Emir's rank insignia as a Bulgarian naval officer is incorrect. He appears to be wearing the three stars of a vice-admiral on his epaulettes (far too senior to command the ship he commands), but the rank rings on his lower sleeve (two narrow rings above one regular) are completely made up.
When You Know, You Know - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: Morgan's wedding veil goes from front to back multiple times in the same scene. (00:09:32)
Continuity mistake: When Silva tells Fern that "that is not a thing Jedi say," he is looking right at her. In the next shot, he's looking straight ahead out the viewport. (00:08:13)
Factual error: At the tanker / airplane accident site, Tommy states, "When 11,000 gallons of crude oil hits 100 octane AVGAS - it tends to go boom." The problem is there was no AVGAS present at that crash site. The plane involved in the accident was a King Air - which has turbine (jet) engines, not piston engines that would require AVGAS. A King Air is fueled with 'Jet-A' fuel. (00:28:00)
Other mistake: When Mr. Bulkington's reflection is shown in a window in his first appearance, his reflection is not backwards; note the direction of his tie stripes. (00:02:49)
Family Tree - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: When John goes to Per's home to convince him to return to work, John's shirt, which is initially hidden under his sweater, becomes visible as they walk.
Factual error: Originally described as a subaltern (the correct equivalent rank to lieutenant in the ATS), Sandra Wesgate is later promoted to captain, which is incorrect as the ATS equivalent was junior commander.
Other mistake: Ruth Slater's teeth are perfect and glistening upon her release from prison, even though she was an impoverished teen who spent 15 years in prison.
Visible crew/equipment: Outside the laundromat, when Cook comes out willingly to answer what he believes are follow-up questions, Lala whispers to Franks not to spook Cook. As Franks (with gritted teeth) leads Cook to the car, three T-marks (red, yellow, and green) are visible on the ground behind them. (00:16:45)
Sophisticated Ladies Week - S1-E12
Continuity mistake: Captain Massey is at the bar and orders his usual drink. A woman, Heather, comes over and starts talking to him. In one of the shots over his shoulder, Massey has his hand resting on his mouth. In the reverse angle, his hands are down.
Plot hole: This series depicts Dexter and Harry working together at Miami Metro. However, the original series established that Harry died before Dexter ever started working at Miami Metro.
