Assuming the radio station's reception extends beyond more than a small geographic area, an area code is needed for callers outside of the immediate area. Continuity mistake: Viewing from the foot of the bed, Julia's quilt/bedspread is pulled to the edge and forms a butterfly-like shape, but the side view shows three mound-like rolls. Returning to the foot of the bed, the butterfly shape of the bedspread reappears. (00:13:12)
Continuity mistake: Dutch's body is at an angle to, and at least a foot away from Rosemary's, when he tells her she should move. The camera switches to a front view, and they are already shoulder-to-shoulder (linearly) with her left arm through his right elbow. (00:17:00)
Other mistake: In the movie, the mission takes place on the Space Shuttle Discovery. In the scene with the shuttle on the crawler, coming out of the Vehicle Assembly Building, Atlantis is pictured instead of Discovery. (01:39:48)
Continuity mistake: The amount of tomato juice in Lou's [Lily Tomlin] glass fluctuates with camera angle/distance, increasing two times. More distant views from the table show about one-third full, whereas close-ups show about one-half full. (00:27:10 - 00:28:10)

Other mistake: When Adam Sandler calls his daughter on a video chat in the car with her friend, the picture of his daughter is not the same as when she is in the car. Continuity mistake: Isaac uses his right hand to drink some water, and his hand immediately goes from holding the glass to his mouth to holding chopsticks next to his plate. (00:20:58)
Continuity mistake: In the rear view of the picture frames on the desk, the frames are closer together and aligned in a somewhat semi-circular pattern, but are spread out and staggered in the front view. At first, it appears a gap in time can possibly explain the rearranged frames (Rock is opening mail), but a rear view while he is still reading his mail shows the frames arranged like they originally were. Continuity mistake: The front view of the desk shows a few neatly arranged and parallel piles of papers, but the view from the desk's chair shows the piles non-aligned and the highest pile (thick file folder) more askew than the others. None of the men are touching the papers. (00:07:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Grace is entering the flower store, if you look closely at the door, you can see the reflection of the entire camera crew and equipment present. (00:16:07)
Revealing mistake: The "horse" in the stall on the left has to be fake. With the exception of a barely visible half-blink, it does not move the slightest when the girl (while handling the reins) walks around its head, and a couple of girls are touching (pretending to be removing) the saddle. Revealing mistake: More than once, when speaking to their robot doubles, it's obvious that both Charles and Elaine are actually just talking to nobody, given their mannerisms.
Continuity mistake: Andy is walking alongside a highway and is roughly between the "End Road Work" and "Speed Limit 55" signs. There is a tall, thin sign pole on the right-front side of the screen. Andy is almost at the pole when there is a cut to Bishop breaking into and searching a house. The camera returns to Andy, who is still walking at the same pace and just reaches the pole, but he should be much further ahead. (00:30:24 - 00:32:10)
Other mistake: Halfway through the film, a cityscape with the subtitle "Russia" is shown - the city is, in fact, Atlanta. Skyscrapers such as the SunTree Plaza, Westin Peachtree Plaza, and the Georgia-Pacific Tower are visible. (01:24:00)
