Trivia: The man Reacher passes in the diner at the end of the episode who says "excuse me" is the author of the Jack Reacher novels, Lee Child.
Trivia: Gaspard Ulliel, who portrays Anton Mogart, was involved in a fatal skiing accident the day after the trailer for this series debuted. The third episode is dedicated to his memory.
Trivia: The receptionist who gets She-Hulk to sign an NDA is played by Matt Wilkie, who at the time was actually a receptionist at Marvel's studios. He was promoted before the episode aired, and showrunner Jessica Gao almost wished he hadn't been, saying "it ruins my dream, which was that somebody would watch the show and then have a meeting at Marvel Studios and then go to that actual lobby, see Matt Wilkie and sign the NDA".
Trivia: Prior to this series going into production, HBO greenlit a series called "Bloodmoon." It was set in the Age of Heroes, around 5,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and starred Naomi Watts in the lead role. The project was shelved after the pilot was shot.
Trivia: The ship that Cassian steals in the first episode is a prototype of the TIE Avenger. This was introduced to the Star Wars canon first in the 1994 PC game, Star Wars: TIE Fighter. It is portrayed as the next evolution of the TIE Fighter as an elite experimental ship and predecessor to the TIE Defender. It has enhanced shields, a hyperdrive, and heavy weapon loadouts including proton torpedoes. Andor season 2 is the first time this has appeared in Star Wars live action.
