Other mistake: At the school, a police officer told Owen, "Let's go" (move his vehicle). Owen tells Connor "We're playing hooky", makes a sharp turn, speeds past three school buses parked along the road, and passes a police office and school crossing guard (who didn't seem to notice). School zones have 15 MPH limits and police take speeding in these areas very seriously. A motorists violating in a school zone like Owen did would be pursued and cited with multiple offenses. Other mistake: Det. Martinez told Peter he couldn't do anything about his belief that Charles was in his penthouse (and took his dog) without the necessary evidence. However, the detective filed stalking charges against Peter based on Charles' statement that he was being stalked, which was without evidence. The charge of stalking was also far-fetched and the detective should have had enough sense to realise that Charles would not be in fear of his safety over Peter's presence or behavior.
Other mistake: James supposedly did not give his name when he filed a complaint against Dr. Clark, which would make conducting an investigation to determine if the complaint was valid very difficult. Dr. Clark would be entitled to due process (presumption of innocence) and it is highly unlikely that the Medical Commission would have taken such quick and drastic measures against Dr. Clark under the circumstances.
Other mistake: Boxer tells Jordon, later in the film in 2021, that Trip Granger died of a drug overdose 6 months after his heart transplant. The transplant was done Nov. 6 2014. However, earlier in 2021, Boxer was looking at a funeral card for Trip, which stated he died in 2014 (1984-2014). (01:07:13 - 01:21:19)
Other mistake: At the Night Driver gallery showing, Haley is reading from a program that describes Anthony's "Say My Name" piece. The text states that Helen Lyle died from "self-emulation" instead of "self-immolation", immolation meaning death by fire.
Other mistake: The IRS agent that knocks at the door of Aldo's squash booth sports a badge that is more phony than a football bat; it doesn't have a name, expiration date, or a full sentence on it. (01:21:05)
Other mistake: At the end of the movie the soldiers handcuff Farid despite the fact that he only has one hand.
Other mistake: Packie arrived at Frank's garage on a bicycle, wearing a brown coat, hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, patterned shirt, and a T-shirt. Swaino arrived on a motorcycle, wearing a tight jacket, no hat, black gloves, and black jogging jacket with white trim. When they were outside by the grill, they had large sweaters over their coats. It isn't known where these sweaters came from. It can be assumed the blanket Swaino used at first was from Frank's garage, but the sweaters did not appear to be Frank's. (00:25:32 - 00:37:35)
Other mistake: Narrating, Ringo said "Let me be clear. I never steal from people who don't deserve it." He was in a bank's safety deposit room, which was full of hundreds (if not thousands) of safety deposit boxes. Ringo was selecting specific boxes from among those along the wall, but he couldn't know whose boxes they were. (00:02:44)
Other mistake: Grace Lewis shot a man in the head when he was standing less than three feet from her, but Grace did not get any blood splatter on her face or elsewhere. Neither did George Clements, who was standing near both of them. (01:15:03)
Other mistake: Phone shows calls received at 10:28PM (which happened minutes before the scene) and yet the phone says it's 2:11. (00:36:26)
Other mistake: When Allison goes into the morgue to look for her dead father, she sees Michael Myers' dead doctor. On his toe tag, it says place of death: Izmir, Turkey. He was killed in Haddonfield, Illinois, USA. I'm assuming the prop guy thought it said place of birth.
Other mistake: In the first two minutes of the film the registration number of the small aeroplane is written in reverse. (00:01:48)
Other mistake: When Uncle Joey was on the phone talking to his sister and when he got to her house to pick up his niece and nephew, he did not have a circular red cut or rash above his right eyebrow. The red area also could not be seen most of the time when he was driving, but at a couple points it was visible - despite the visor on his cap blocking out light and its visibility. At the campgrounds, Uncle Joey wore a headband but it wasn't needed to conceal the red area like the cap was - the red area was gone. (00:07:10 - 00:11:26)
Other mistake: When Zoe Levenson first looks out the window from the spaceship, the earth is from the bottom moving towards the top, this is opposite to the ship spinning direction, which can be determined by the direction of the gravity. (00:12:50)
Other mistake: The same 2 family photographs decorate the family home over and over and over again. Sometimes one or two of the members has been Photoshopped out.
Other mistake: Jane's top includes a scarf that is wrapped around her neck a few times. She starts to remove the scarf by unwrapping it clockwise. When the camera shifts, and she resumes unwrapping the scarf, she goes counterclockwise. (00:20:55)
Other mistake: Liam Neeson jumps into ice water to rescue his brother. He then painfully pulls his brother into the cab of the truck. Inside, he revives his brother after which they have a lengthy conversation. Liam's Mike McCann never starts the truck engine or turns the heater up, even though he and his brother are soaked to the skin and the brother is coughing up ice water from his lungs. In the next scene, both appear dry, in the same clothing, with no signs of hypothermia.
Other mistake: When the doctor left Sharyn's room, the hallway behind him appeared to be relatively short and no doors to other rooms could be seen, but when Sharyn looked out the room, there were numerous doors/rooms on each side down a long hallway. (00:05:00 - 00:05:47)
Other mistake: Tom told David and Lily, "Whoever murdered that girl [Jessica] didn't have sex with her. They used a corn cob." The crime scene photo of the "corn cob" actually showed a partially opened "husk of corn" or "ear of corn." The "cob" is the inner part of the ear beneath the kernels of corn and could more realistically be used to "assault" someone. (00:33:30 - 00:38:30)
