Continuity mistake: There are several variations or inconsistencies in Marcus' hair and tie from the time he goes through the metal detector and sits in the courtroom. His hair was consistently "messy", but disheveled right and/or left sides were inconsistent. The tie was fairly snug against his collar at first, but got looser then tighter. (00:54:14 - 00:57:08)
Continuity mistake: Tommy, the truck driver, offers Ray a tip and Ray puts a money box on the desk and opens it. After they discuss him not wanting to accept the tip for a moment and then Tommy walking away letting him keep it, it cuts to Ray putting the money in his back pocket. In that shot the money box has disappeared from the desk, without him ever having touched it again in that scene. (00:18:10)
Continuity mistake: Deanna is playing racquetball with her friend when she hits her in the lady parts with the ball. The two sit down by the wall; look at the bottle Melissa McCarthy is holding; it's practically empty, but in the closer angle when she sobs "What am I doing?" it is almost completely refilled. Continuity mistake: When the boy is given the gun and bullets so he can go and find a temple to cure his mother, he has a handful of bullets and one slips down and falls into his sleeve, partly sticking out. It cuts to his face and then back to his hand from a different angle. He has his hand cupped still but you can tell it's empty with no bullets in it. Also his gun keeps changing positions in his other hand in each shot. From pointed down, to pointed straight up, to pointed to the side. (00:17:15)
Continuity mistake: After Willoughby wrapped a necktie around Don's wrist and crossed the ends to hold it together, it fell apart when Don lowered his arm. But the necktie was securely wrapped when the camera shifted to showing Don putting his arm around Willoughby's back. (01:36:40)
Continuity mistake: After performing 'surgery' on the bear, Tasha goes visit another one of her little patients. Before she sets foot in the room bickering with Jeff you can see her hair flows left and right of her colourful pin on the coat. Inside the room, her hair is just on one side, switches side, and it stays that way till she exits the room, when once more there is a visible change at the cut. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: The Stalker, "Shrike," is a persistent hunter, but not terribly quick on his feet. He's sort of a lurching, Frankenstein-like cyborg who is always pursuing Hester Shaw at about walking speed. When Valentine frees Shrike from Sharkmoor prison, miles out to sea, we see Valentine in his airship destroying the prison and we see Shrike's prison cell sink to the sea floor. This cuts to a long distance shot of the prison exploding and sinking in the far background, miles away, as Valentine's airship comes sweeping from the far background into the foreground and out of frame. Almost immediately, Shrike emerges from the surf in the foreground and slowly trudges ashore, implying that he somehow travelled miles across the sea floor just as swiftly as did the airship, in a matter of moments, despite his slow, lumbering gait. Continuity mistake: When the robber is arrested, his hands are cuffed behind his back. When he's being loaded into the police car, his hands are suddenly cuffed in front of his body.
Continuity mistake: While talking in his kitchen, Tom's phone is sitting next to a glass that is by Hallie's arm. When he steps forward and it shows a close up of him reaching for the phone, suddenly it's moved over to the left a bit and turned crooked. (01:01:20)
Continuity mistake: The mayor suffers a bleeding head wound while evacuating City Hall. Several scenes later he is shown with no wound at all. Not even his hair is mussed. (00:40:30 - 00:46:30)
Continuity mistake: When Toby puts two drinking glasses from the workmen in the trash can it is not lined, but when Delores opens the trash can it is lined with a paper bag.
Continuity mistake: When Ryan and Taylor are talking, she puts on a green shirt and her ponytail is still inside it. It cuts to a different angle angle and suddenly her hair is outside her shirt.
Continuity mistake: Susan meets backstage Dr. Mitch. He states the obvious saying that she looks alike her twin sister, just more confident, and she cuts him off saying that she knows. She was leaning back with her hands as support, and at the cut she replies to him with her hands joined at the front. (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: When Stallone kills the bad guys with skull masks in the corridor of the bar, his motions pointing the pistol don't match the positions of the lemming-like goons he hits. For instance he has the gun all the way to his right for the first one he kills, but the guy is shown with a hole opening in his forehead while he's in the middle of the corridor. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: When Rita is running toward the hanger in a scene that mirrors the first film, she is running on a long wood walkway. In the next shot however, she is on the dirt.
Continuity mistake: In the space shuttle, as the astronauts are preparing to leave and avoid the asteroid, the one in the front left seat is fiddling around with some controls and raises and lowers his arm. It is a smooth animation of his arm each time it moves. He lowers it back down and then the one behind him mentions the bay doors are still open, and then suddenly the guy in front's arm just jumps back up to its previous position instantly like a jump cut. Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more. The ice cream in the bowl starts out being about half-full, goes down to less than one-fourth, and returns to about half-full again. (01:02:47 - 01:03:19)
Continuity mistake: When the Overgard makes a cave in the snow for the night with the girl, he goes to put her picture in her coat. She is sleeping with her hands down at her legs. When it cuts to a close up of the picture going into her coat, suddenly her right hand is up on her chest. (00:47:12)
