Continuity mistake: Just before the garbage truck mows down the policeman and continues through traffic, we see behind the cop a street full of stopped cars, and a building less than 100 yards away (the street starts at a T-intersection). There is no truck, and no way for it to have gotten onto the street at the speed it's going. (00:07:05)
Continuity mistake: After Batman shoots Reverse Flash through the head, Flash rushes over to Batman and catches him before he falls over from his wounds. As Flash is lying him down slowly, there is no blood on Batman's face. It then cuts to a close up as Batman reaches up to pull off his mask and there is suddenly blood on his lips and chin. Continuity mistake: Approximately two scenes after Kitai leaves the pigs' burrow where he sheltered for the night, the "cutlass" is suddenly missing from his backpack. He later retrieves another from the ship's tail section. There is likely a deleted scene which would have explained the loss of the cutlass.

Continuity mistake: A few minutes after Lee puts a bandage on Hugh's forehead, it disappears completely in one shot (as does the cut it was covering), before reappearing a moment later, but in a different position.

Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the movie, Gerry's son spills hot coffee all over Gerry's shirt. He is wearing a white shirt/vest for his uniform. There is no stain or even wetness left behind.
Continuity mistake: When Duke and Roadblock are playing video games in Roadblock's house, Roadblock's kids come up and start messing with Duke. They knock Duke's headphones off and comment about his big ears. But then Duke stands up with them on his back and his headphones are on his head again. The next shot, they vanish. (00:05:20)

Continuity mistake: When young Clark saves the school bus and is watched by Lana, his fringe swaps from being brushed to the right to brushed to the left, between shots. (00:27:55)
Continuity mistake: When Gipsy Danger is lifted by the Kaiju in Hong Kong, they end up well above the clouds, and when Gipsy falls she eventually breaks through them. But in the shots when she is falling, you can see that there are no clouds around Hong Kong for miles. That, and Pentecost has a clear view of Gipsy through his binoculars.
Continuity mistake: Flint's lab, despite being crushed, filled with food, and knocked down in the first film, is not only fixed to the point it can hold all the water, and empty of food, but is also strung up high and the tube is connected again.
Continuity mistake: When Wanderer and Melanie first start to work together to escape, she walks out onto the balcony above a pool and places her hands on the railing, very close to one of the vertical dividers of the railing. The camera pans down to the pool then cuts back up to her. Suddenly, she is equal distance from the vertical dividers on her left and right, and the doors and windows she just walked through have disappeared behind her. (00:22:50)
Continuity mistake: When Max hides under the pig cart, the thermal scan from the ship shows at least 8 or 9 pigs, they barely have room to turn. But when he stands up seconds later, the cart has perhaps five pigs and plenty of space around them. (00:56:00)
