Continuity mistake: When Alexandra Rover is about to leave the apartment to go and help Nim, she is standing in front of the door debating if she can go or not (she is agoraphobic, afraid to leave her home). Notice that the baby chain is hooked to the door. Alex Rover (the imaginary adventure hero) is leaning against the wall telling Alexandra she can and must go help Nim and that she must turn the door knob. In the next scene, Alexandra turns the knob and opens the door. She never unhooked the baby chain, and Alex Rover is an imaginary character so he could not have unhooked it.
Continuity mistake: When Tinker Bell tries to fix the music box there is a leaf in the box, when she is done it's gone.
Continuity mistake: In scene two, when Rachel is getting ready in the bathroom with her friends, she is wearing her shoes. Chloe (the dog) is mad because she wants to be fed, and after she is given dog food, puts a clump into Rachel's shoes. She should have not had her shoes on in the bathroom in order for this to make sense.
Continuity mistake: In the scene after the Zeta sorority girls get their makeovers and are selling calenders in the quad, when all the girls are sitting down Natalie (Emma Stone) is wearing glasses. When it cuts to Shelley (Anna Farris) talking about Natalie being a virgin her glasses come off, but when it cuts back to her, her glasses are on. It goes back and forth a good three times.
Continuity mistake: The pile of eggs that Bud knocks over in the security video becomes noticeably smaller when the angle changes.
Continuity mistake: Shortly before the big cattle drive arc begins, Kipling Flynn pours a teacup full of rum for Lady Ashley to drink. The camera cuts to an over-the-shoulder view as Lady Ashley starts to tip back her teacup; at this point, you can see that the cup is completely empty.
Continuity mistake: When the girls are having their PE lesson and Poppy is watching them practice their Lacrosse skills, Poppy gets some mud on her face, but in the next shot as she is putting sanitizer on, the splatter of mud is bigger and has changed shape. It is before she has touched it so it wouldn't have spread yet.
Continuity mistake: In the part when Lina and Doon are looking at The Book of Ember, they open it to a few pages in. But in a later shot, it shows they are near the middle of the book.
Continuity mistake: When the group enters Shangri La, Alex runs down toward Zi Juan and the fountain. Before he gets there, we get to see wide shots from behind him of the ground to his left which is rocky with no path, and we also see that no-one is following, yet in the next shot from the front, Zi Juan's daughter appears instantly to block her mothers sword swing. There was simply not enough time between shots for her to accomplish this, and even if it were possible, her mother would have seen her approaching.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in which Abel is facing the gunmen with the shotgun, after Abel takes the gun away from the gunman and holds it up under his chin, the view changes from Abel's face to the gunman's face. When Abel's face is shown, the gunman's face is low, but when it switches to the gunman's face, you can note that his head is tilted up higher, and vice versa.
Continuity mistake: When Maya gets in the car to go to the White House, she's in a blue outfit, but is in a brown skirt and pink jacket when she gets there. Despite the fact she could've changed in the jet, she wouldn't have known she was going to be on a private jet, and so would've been wearing what she intended to wear. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: When Skeeter is making the "rice cake, banana and wheat-germ sandwich" during the scene the broken sandwich on the plate and also the banana on the counter keep on changing their position. Also, in the closeup of the sandwich after Skeeter has poured toothpaste on it the jar of wheat-germ is not visible, but in all the other shots it is right beside the plate.
Continuity mistake: Near the end, the tank's turret is seen turning. Camera does a quick cut and it's back to where it was before. Camera cuts and it's turning again.
Continuity mistake: Horton looks back when he hears footsteps to show an empty field. Later, the Sour Kangaroo climbs onto a rock that was never there.
Continuity mistake: During the Deathball Match, the booth window is smashed and Wernstrom gets knocked onto the court, however in the next overview shot, the window is intact and he is still standing behind it. (00:15:10)
Continuity mistake: When Queen Latifah looks out her window at the cop car she is looking out into the night. But when it shows her from an angle inside her house there is daylight shining through the window.
Continuity mistake: The morning after her wedding night, we see Mary walking with Anne telling her about the wedding night, notice Mary's braids in her hair, one braid is in a circle, yet in the next scene where Mary and Anne are folding a blanket, her braid is now down in one long braid. Continuity mistake: When Dacyshyn drags Mulder by his legs and brings him to the shed, he goes past the tree stump with an axe embedded in it, but in the close-up of Mulder's torso there is some debris on the tree stump and the axe has disappeared, then the axe reappears still embedded in the wood. Continuity mistake: When Nick and Bobby are playing craps in Rusty Nail's barn, Nick rolls "chest," resulting in Rusty branding Bobby with his R key chain. Rusty puts the red hot key chain in Bobby's shirt pocket and holds it against his chest. When Rusty lets go, you can see a hole has been burned into Bobby's shirt. The very next shot, Bobby is rolling the dice and his shirt is intact. Later on at the very end of the film, Bobby's shirt has the hole in the pocket again. (01:13:50 - 01:15:00)
