Other mistake: When Warren/Angel refuses the cure and spreads his wings, he is looking to the left of the screen at his father. In the reflection of Dr. Kavita Rao's glasses the shot of him is not reversed; he is still looking to the left of the screen when he should in fact be looking to the right. (00:33:00)
Other mistake: When Joey Lawrence gets his hand cut off by the human, he wakes up to find his arm where his hand used to be wrapped in some kind of black cloth. It's obviously his hand that is wrapped up because the wrap sticks out too far to be only wrapping his wrist. Plus it is also bulky which gives away the hand underneath.
Other mistake: The text of the German news is wrong. It is titled "Fensterputzer halten an ihrem Lebemfest" (Window cleaners hold on for their lives). It should be "Leben fest". Also "Newsdirek" is wrong, it should be "Newsdirekt" or better "News direkt."
Other mistake: The same shot of two guys looking at a computer while sitting outside on the school campus is used in two different scenes. (00:02:15 - 00:11:35)
Other mistake: This mistake occurs when Borden crashes Angier's act. Borden emerges from the trick door for the Transported Man trick, feigns surprise, and then "discovers" the bound and gagged double suspended above the stage. When Borden says "Ah, the Great Danton" you can see the ring and pinkie fingers on his left hand moving, even though he had already lost them by this time in the movie. We know that it has to be after the time BOTH twins lost their fingers because Olivia observed Borden's trick and says that "it is the same man" because she was fooled by both Bordens having their gloves stuffed.
Other mistake: William B. Davis plays a US Air Force General. Unfortunately, the Wardrobe Dept took a CANADIAN Royal Air Force jacket and put US insignia on it. The noticeable difference is the epaulets, which don't reach all the way to the jacket collar. On US military uniforms, epaulets go all the way UNDER the collar.
Other mistake: When Mutini first gets shot, the gunfire supposedly comes from inside the vehicle, but the windows and doors are closed, the glass doesn't shatter when the shots are fired. There are no visible bullet holes when the door is opened.
Suggested correction: He was shot through the door. There are two visible bullet holes in the door when the shots ring out and when the door opens. Just below the window.
Other mistake: During the sex tape scene, the blinds are closed to prevent someone outside from looking in. About 30 seconds later, you can see the blinds crinkle a little bit, to show the "hollow man" has split the blinds open in order to peek inside. This isn't possible to do from outside, as the window would be in the way. (00:18:10)
Other mistake: When Jenny and Matt first enter his apartment, the deadbolt on the door is intact. Later, when Professor Bedlam's minion kicks the door open the plate and deadlatch are missing. The act of kicking the door open might destroy the striker plate in the door jamb, or it might blow the entire lock body through the door, but it couldn't neatly remove the plate and bolt alone.
Other mistake: Luke shoots Jasper's finger off, but if you look closely, you can see the bullet only hit his wrist.
Other mistake: Why are the guards carrying that useless glass armor? Glass is very heavy, so it is not comfortable; the armor isn't shock proof, because it breaks even if they just fall down; and it isn't bullet proof, because the guy with the AR-15 shoots right through it.
