Factual error: The verse Octavia recites is from Virgilius' poem "the Aeneid". That poem was written at least a quarter of a decade after the death of Caesar.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Karen is about to process the sample from the bathroom the vial is in her right hand and the swab in her left. In the next shot the vial is in her left hand and the swab in her right.
Audio problem: In the pub with Andy, when Les is talking about Graham Norton and Les says "Ooooh, Jackie Collins!", his lips have no relation to what he's saying.
Factual error: In the episode, "Professor Blackjack", Manny puts a stack of one hundred dollar bills on the card table for the professor to bet. The bills are the new ones issued a few years ago with the enlarged portrait of Benjamin Franklin. The scene is supposed to take place in 1961.
Continuity mistake: In one scene where Kris is talking to her mom, she grabs an apple, then takes a paper towel from the holder. Then, if you look behind her at the holder, it is empty. But in a wide shot, the paper towels are back again.
Factual error: In episode 7, we see a toilet in the improvised jail. In fact, most "toilets" in Iraq are specially built holes in the floor.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Earl says that costing his Dad the election is 4 on his list, however, on the list that they show during the title sequence of each episode, "Cost Dad the Election" is 65. (00:01:10)
Continuity mistake: When they first bring the girl to the house with the storm and lay her on the bead the there candles next to her. First the tallest one blows out then the middle one blow out then the shot changes and the middle candle blows out again.
Valerie Hangs With the Cool Kids - S1-E9
Revealing mistake: In episode number 9 of the first season, "Valerie Hangs With the Cool Kids", Valerie receives a call from Juna saying that she is required at the studio for filming. She rushes there, and when she opens the white door to enter the studio, there is a plastic sign on the door saying, "The Comeback". Seeing as Valerie's Comeback show is not solely filmed in the same studio as "Room & Bored", it has to be advertising the real show with Lisa Kudrow, and therefore shouldn't be in shot. (00:22:05)

Continuity mistake: When the cats are entering the race the height of the sign lowers when Waffle walks up.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thugnificent is giving Riley is new chain and holds a speech, we can see that Riley's chain is as long as Thugnificent's. However, when he actually hands it over to Riley and when Riley does wear it, the chain is considerably shorter to compensate for Riley's length. (00:10:10)

Continuity mistake: There are three boxes of cupcakes stacked on the coffee table. However when Trixie picks them up, as the shot changes there are now five boxes of cupcakes. (00:12:10)
Factual error: When Rose is introduced to the entire team McGloin shakes her hand and says that he (respects or admires) anyone that has survived the POW school. She smiles, nods and walks away. McGloin then explains to the last remaining teammate that all NIOs attend the POW school and explains briefly what it is. First: It is the SERE school. Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape not really POW. Second: Not all, not even most, NIOs attend SERE school, just some.
The Snap Out Of It Episode - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the "clown" is trying to get back into his closet to eat his soup while Marni and her boyfriend are fighting, the closet door is open. Then when he starts to go back to get a spoon and changes his mind the "clown" turns around and opens the door, even though it was already open.
First Dance - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Geena Davis is getting ready for bed, she is sitting on the bed and her robe is untied. in the next shot, she is standing and her husband unties her robe strings, which are now tightly tied around her waist.
Have Yourself A Sorelli Little Christmas - S1-E9
Continuity mistake: When Jason is banging on the window and wakes up Marjee and Rose the clock says 2:00am. Rose then leaves and goes down to the kitchen in which she talks to Renee. She asks Renee "Where have you been? It's almost 2." It's obviously past 2 as we saw it on the clock earlier.
Continuity mistake: While Mike is cleaning out the armadillo's hay, just before he finishes the second one you can see the amount of hay in the bin is a few inches from the top of the bin. The next shot goes to a close up of him removing more hay but the amount of hay now in the bin is a bit below the top.
Factual error: Jonah tells Richard that Saturn has a "rogue moon" in a retrograde orbit that travels "at four times the speed" of Saturn's other moons. The graphic on Jonah's computer shows that the moon in question is Phoebe, which does indeed orbit in the opposite direction from other Saturnian moons. And the graphic correctly shows Phoebe's orbit as being much further from the planet than the other moons. However, as a direct consequence of its greater orbital radius, Phoebe is actually among Saturn's *slowest* moons. It has a longer orbital period (or "month") and a slower orbital velocity than all the Saturnian moons with smaller orbital radii, of which there are twenty.
