Continuity mistake: 2005 cable movie with Tom Berenger, Annabeth Gish, Sybil Shepherd. About 5 minutes before the end of the movie, Gish is holding Shepherd at gunpoint with a revolver pointed at Shepherd's neck. As Berenger enters the room, the click of the hammer being cocked is heard. The first 5 or so close up shots of Gish show her thumb on the cocked hammer. But in the next 3 or so close up shots the hammer is down and her thumb is down on the other side of the grips.
Continuity mistake: In the kitchen scene at Greg Kinnear's house when Pierce is convincing Greg to fly to Arizona with him to do a job, the clock on the wall behind them first reads 5:45 am. In the next shot, the clock reads 5:28 am.
Continuity mistake: When Maddie and the others are trapped in the silo, there are a lot of locusts that have landed on the structure, but there is also a huge number of locusts flying through the air all around. After they electrocute the locusts, there's not a single live locust to be seen anywhere, even though all the insects that were not directly on top of the metal building should have survived.
Continuity mistake: When Chris finds Nola in the Tate modern, her arm changes from bent to down between front and back shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Pin and Brendan are sitting on the beach talking, in one shot the sun is below the horizon, in the next shot it's just above, and in the next shot it's under the horizon again.
Continuity mistake: Maggie carries a bag and black plastic "luggage" when getting off the train and making the phone call. But when she walks into grandma's room, the bag is missing.
Continuity mistake: When the men are in the lounge room, one of them is playing GTA III on a PS2. Note the car he is in (a squad car) and the health (a heart logo near it with 68). Pattie enters room and says goodbye. The men try to figure out who slept with her. On figuring it out they jump up and leave room, we get one more shot of the game and he is now in a different car and health is 100. You will notice that he doesn't play it long enough to change cars as he is not looking at the screen long enough. During the scene you can hear the sirens of the squad car he was in, meaning he didn't change cars. Also he never would of regained full health that quick. (00:56:05)
Continuity mistake: When the grandfather cuts the potato, the pickle on the plate moves back and forth in the different shots.
Continuity mistake: When Perry is on hunger strike and Capote brings him puree to eat, Perry's head keeps changing positions depending on the back or front shot.
Continuity mistake: After the father buys the 1940 Ford he and the son are driving and drive across a bridge with a rock bed stream. Just as soon as they cross the shot is then shown from the front of the car and there is no bridge in sight.
Continuity mistake: The license plates of Miriam's car keep alternating throughout the movie. One of the versions begins with "4WHQ" and the other, "5CPF".
Continuity mistake: In the end of the movie, they show Henry being put into the ambulance on the stretcher. The next shot is of Sam and Naomi Watts's character and then another shot of the ambulance, where Henry's body on the stretcher is outside the ambulance again.
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant, the doll falls between the wheels of the pram, but when Alice takes it, it is further away.
Continuity mistake: When Tom's car crashes against the water bottles, the crash causes a hole in the windshield. A second later it's fixed and perfect.
Continuity mistake: In the bedroom scene the bedding at the head of the bed slightly changes from one position to another and then back again.
Continuity mistake: When Katelyn puts on her hockey skates, her leggings are not on. When Ronnie returns the skate it is white. Her skates suddenly appear as neutral and her leggings suddenly appear.
Continuity mistake: When Steve played leaves the hospital room, he is wearing his glasses. In the next shot they have disappeared into his pocket. In the following shot he is wearing them again.
Continuity mistake: In the room when DJay first plays his keyboard, the dirt pattern on the door behind him changes drastically when the scene changes.
Continuity mistake: In a flashback, Michael is injured by something falling on him. The injury "pattern" on his face constantly changes between shots in that scene.
Continuity mistake: When Madeleine is having her nails done, it is either her right or left leg that is crossed, in different shots.
