Continuity mistake: When Sam runs into the RA's room to escape the press, she closes the door. When she and James leave the room shortly after, the door opens on the other side of the door frame and there is an "RA" on the outside of the door that wasn't there before.
Visible crew/equipment: During the first fight against the axe gang, a peasant, a tailor, and a baker fight the Axe Gang. When the axe gang gets the guns out of the trunk of the car, the camera is reflected as the trunk hood is going up.

Continuity mistake: Before the final play begins on opening night, Annette Benning receives her husband Michael in her dressing room, and her nails are polished dark red. Then, during the scenes showing her performance on stage, her nails have no polish at all. She did not remove the polish and reapply it.

Continuity mistake: Right at the end, as Alex and Luke are about to have sex, Alex takes her hair out of her ponytail style and lets it hang down loosely. Her hair is extremely 'poofy' at this time, sort of messy as well. The camera angle changes to Luke for two seconds, then back to Alex. Suddenly, her hair is combed down and straight now...with no 'poofyness' and no hair out of place.
