Best horror movie mistakes of 1990
Other mistake: In the slaughterhouse scene, after Harrigan has injured the Predator with his shotgun and Keyes reappears, the Predator throws its disc, and severs Keyes in half at the waist. We see his legs flop to the ground, and blood pour from above, but his upper half (torso, backpack and weaponry) mysteriously remain hovering out of sight.
Continuity mistake: In one scene, Chucky and a girl are driving down a road when they get pulled over by a cop. The cop is surprised to see a "Good Guys" doll, and is shocked to see that its nose is bleeding. They do a close up of Chucky's nose, and blood is running from it. When they cut to the cops point of view, where Chucky and the girl are both in frame, the blood is gone. It doesn't reappear for the rest of that scene, even though no one wiped it away.
Continuity mistake: After Cody leaves prison and gets in the car with his friends, we see him letting Angel into the back seat, then just two seconds later, when the camera switches to the view of the prison, we can hear the engine started. He couldn't wait for Angel to enter, then enter himself and start the car in two seconds.
Continuity mistake: Lisa drives Sam to the hospital and is met by Dr. Marsh. Dr. Marsh puts on a protective eye mask, before administering a syringe of luminous substance into Sam's arm to stop him projecting fire, but the next scene shows him not wearing the mask then it's back when disposing of the syringe.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where young Norman kills the horny young girl, as he's talking to Mother, she can be seen moving and even blinking her eyes when the camera's at her back, yet at this point in the movie, she's been murdered and placed back in her bed. Clearly the actress missed the memo.
Continuity mistake: During the final fight between Boone and Decker, right before he is killed, Decker almost falls backwards off a small "cliff", only to be caught by Boone. Watch the shots closely. In the first shot from above, he teeters on the edge, about to fall, and Boone isn't holding him. Yet in the next shot from below (looking upwards), Boone is holding onto Decker's shirt/jacket. The camera cuts back up above, and Boone is no longer holding Decker, but instead grabs him while shouting "Not yet!"
