Continuity mistake: At the Policeperson's Dance, Copeland spills punch over the Commissioner's wife's white dress. As the camera view switches, her dress is already stained before she is splashed.
Revealing mistake: When Frank is knocked down with the tray, the arms of the person operating Johnny 5 are visible when the robot turns to run.
Continuity mistake: Notice the candle on the table in the Italian restaurant scene during Capt. Kirk and Dr. Gillian dialog. It changes height depending who is talking. (01:03:50 - 01:08:30)
Continuity mistake: The dash or speedometer of the Ferrari is visible multiple times, but two different dashes are seen. In one the speedometer has a top speed of 160 (garage men speeding down the road, when Cameron sees the mileage is too high, and when Cameron sees the miles aren't coming off). In the other it has a top speed of 120 (when they get in the car to leave the garage, and looking over Ferris' shoulder at Cameron leaning on the car in the garage before he kicks it [open matte version]). Visible crew/equipment: After the gardening tools attack Roger in the shed, when Roger loads the shotgun to confront the marlin mounted on the wall, just as he enters the room and stops, the boom operator's raised arm is visible on the left side of the screen. (00:43:45)
Other mistake: The Jackson High Cougars goat mascot that McGrath must return is played by two different goats; note the goat's distinctive horns change, and its bell collar is buckled the opposite way.
Continuity mistake: Outside of the museum a bunch of kids reach out and touch Howard. The hands appear and disappear randomly between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the convenience store, Tuba jumpscares the girl he's trying to flirt with. She turns back to the clients; between shots, the bottles of Sprite and Fanta swap position. (00:05:20)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where he is fixing breakfast for his daughter, Robert Redford's shirt sleeves are down. When he goes to rescue the burning toast in the oven, his shirt sleeves are up and then they are down again. (00:15:00)
Continuity mistake: When both gangs run towards each other, the gang on the left runs past a white board with a dead guy lying on the floor and a birdcage above. The shot changes to the opposite gang, then back to them, and they're running past the same spot again. Another shot of the other guys running, shot back to the first group, and they're running past the same place yet again. Also, the man on the far left differs between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Tommy Tong breaks Jarrel's stick, the broken part of the stick differs between shots. (00:33:40)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning when the helicopter lands, the helicopter's shadow goes out toward the rear right of it (from the pilot's perspective), but when Sue grabs her bags and walks to Walter, the shadow is now cast to the front right. Since Sue got out and was standing next to it, the helicopter did not move in the meantime. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: When Dennis's girlfriend goes to see him at the godfather's house, her car is seen parked directly in front of the house, where the godfather's car was just parked moments ago. (01:18:55)
Suggested correction: Well, yes and no, or rather "no and maybe." The godfather's car was parked far enough from the stairs for another car to park closer, between Pazzo's car and house. And it's what happens here. However I do think there could be a continuity issue with one of the exterior shots when Pazzo's car seems to have been moved quite a bit off position compared to before. The mistake could be there but not as big as it appears to be (I kinda find it hard to judge due to the angle by how much really the car is off position, even, since it's a significantly different one from before).
