Continuity mistake: In the scene where everyone is going to the Tanning Invitational, Chris grabs two Hawaiian Lei's and a straw hat from a girl at the door. He puts a blue lei on Mitch and holds on to the red one and the hat. The shot switches to just Chris and when it goes back to Mitch he has on the red lei. Back to Chris again who talks a little more then reaches over and puts the hat on Mitch's head, who is again wearing the blue lei.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when the two shuttles have docked together, one of the NASA astronauts inserts some kind of key into the door and begins to turn it. When he does you hear a ratcheting sound, however, once the door begins to open and there's a shot from the inside of the uninhabited shuttle, the astronaut isn't holding any type of tool, and still the ratcheting sound can be heard as the door opens further.
Continuity mistake: When the Antereans go into the sea for about the second time I think, Jack stays on the boat and starts playing about with the machine and makes it go off. When it does he drops a load of sweets or nuts out of the bag he was holding, but when the camera cuts away then cuts back there are no nuts or sweets on the floor.
Continuity mistake: When Mad Max is sent on gulag on a horse, they place a jar of water on a stick tied to the horses head in order for the horse to keep walking "towards" it. When the horse drop dead to the ground you see the jar empty on the ground and no trace of water in or around it. In a few shots later you see the jar again, but this time the ground around it is wet.
Factual error: When the aliens first take over the Thunder Road, Wolfgang says that he will reverse the "x-axis diode" to make the computer think they are traveling in the opposite direction. However the outside view shows them moving up and forward at a steep angle, ie moving up on the Z axis and forward on the X axis. If they X axis diode was reversed then the Thunder Road would still be ascending at the same rate, simply in the opposite direction (basically changing from moving forwards and climbing to moving backwards and climbing) . To make them descend, he would have to reverse movement on the Z axis. Considering it's shown on screen that Wolfgang designed the interface to make the sphere move on XYZ coordinates, he would know this.
