Continuity mistake: When a jeep gets stuck to the tank's cannon, the type of jeep, its position and the damage done changes between the first and second shot (watch how the smashed windows fix themselves, for example).

Continuity mistake: After Carol goes through her mom's body, a huge wind sweeps away the living room. The lamp next to the TV falls down, but a second later it's facing upwards again.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Jones, Sallah and Marcus walk away from the cliff, from a back angle Indy has his jacket on except for the left shoulder uncovered. A frame later, from a front angle, the jacket is covering his shoulder.

Continuity mistake: In front of the main tribune there's a pile of burning books. First the fire is just atop, a frame later the whole pile is burning.

Continuity mistake: While the neighbour's TV swaps from playing the football game to Mr. Rogers, the guy in green on the background lowers the phone. A frame later from a different angle his hand is up and he is repeating the previous movement.

Visible crew/equipment: After Robbie's glass breaks, Dana leaves through the left side while Diane says she'll clean up. Watch the painting behind her and you'll see the moving shadow of a crew member in front of her.

Continuity mistake: After Dianne says "Stay away from the light" a scientist is standing behind a woman saying there might be walkie-talkies in the home. A frame later he is standing in front of her.

Continuity mistake: When the movie starts, the cosmonaut is standing up straight on the spaceship. A frame later he is laying horizontally plus he is suddenly attached to some sort of tube.

Revealing mistake: When the investigators open the kids' bedroom, some of the flying stuff becomes transparent or very light coloured due to the matte effect.

Continuity mistake: After Indy and Elsa exit the catacombs through a sewer and start to run away, a woman in pink turns her head to watch them leave and then turns around to see Kazim's men run after the couple. A frame later, from a new angle, the woman's head is turned 45° facing downwards.

Other mistake: In the catacombs, Indy flips over the casket with the skeleton and dives underneath together with Elsa. If you watch closely, the skeleton gets trapped inside the casket, however Indy and Elsa are alone inside the casket. If the skeleton had sunken, there wasn't enough time, nor did Elsa or Indy bump into it when they dove underneath.

Continuity mistake: After racing against Breet, Jake takes off his helmet and his hair is sweaty and messed. A frame later it's dry and perfectly brushed.

Factual error: The painting "Saturno devorando a su hijo" has been in the Museo del Prado (Madrid, Spain) since 1876. Plus, it can't be a sketch as the movie states, because the original painting was a mural work that was transferred to canvas after Goya's death.

Factual error: On the ecography that Jake shows to Gekko there's a note on the top left corner stating it's an 8 week baby. However, the baby seen on-screen is 4-5 months old.

Continuity mistake: Sallah rescues Dr. Jones from the tank and stops by the cliff. On the next wide angle he's nowhere around.

Continuity mistake: In front of the idol, Indy shows Satipo the trap on the floor. Satipo's head position is different in all 3 shots in barely 2 seconds: First he's looking downwards, then straight, then his head is turned sideways, and then back to straight. (00:08:20)

Continuity mistake: In the zeppelin, after Indy says "no ticket", everyone searches for their tickets and waves it at Indy. When the angle changes, a frame later, the people are searching for their tickets, no one is showing one.

Continuity mistake: Indy stops his sidecar at a crossroad, meters ahead of a house. When the angle changes he is now several meters behind.
